Hello, I'm kind of ''new'' in Maple Royals, while i have played on and out months ago , this time i decided to give it a full go I love archers and i am currently playing a Xbowman, level 64 I used the MP washing calculator, because i was hoping that i didnt had to remake my character if i didn't have enough HP Considering the many bosses and PB..(?) probably coming i aimed for like 18k at like level 160, so it gave me a goal, i put minimum INT (160) even tho it was a big chunk of levels worth that could go into damage and i struggled grinding. The Calculator said i had to start MP washing by 56 towards 135, so i did so, i have like 8 levels already MP washed and i struggled to level all the way to 64 so far But apparently..there's a daily quest to get HP, up to 9.5k and then is daily? and all the HP equips i could've got to like 11k by that alone, and then either way get to 18k with that daily which wouldn't have hurt ME But now i need like 160 AP resets to put back into it, 128 to get that 2k worth of HP? because apparently the repeatable/daily HP quest takes into account the MP that can be turned into HP https://royals.ms/forum/threads/com...ir-of-life-reuel-hp-quest-guide-lv120.178648/ So...even if i put my INT back to DEX, i'll be actually in a worse position because i gotta waste like 288 AP resets (not counting the 40 i used so far) to get to the same amount as an archer that didn't put points into INT.. And if i go through the road i already decided before i knew of this, i would've still have to find like 10b worth of AP resets which i was like ''Future Me'' problem, but if this exists then i don't really want to spend 10b worth of funding into APR.. So i dont know what to do, i already spent donor cash to making my char look cute and a lot of time to make this character I dont know if remake, or what...but it's already bringing me down Any advice would be appreciated
Not sure if it's because the discord has been down, but you're like the 5th person in 48 hours asking for washing help, or confirming if washing is optional. lol, fml. It depends on the playstyle. If you want to farm/sell leech for a while to afford HP washing. Do that. this *might* be more efficient. If you spend long hours online, grind/farm/merch, this is quite efficient so just follow the old guides for it. If you want to play actual Maplestory and not just skip to bossing. Remake your character and don't HP wash. Last Month they made additional changes to how much HP you get from the daily quest, and further buffed party grinding. I made an MM on Dec.1st, i have 8500HP at 145 with 4 base int the whole time. I had INT equips on level up every level up for the extra MP, and only used APR from daily voting or grinding out daily bosses. If you do EVERYTHING that gives you HP, including Equips, Pets, Legendary collector, quests, all of it. by 155 you can have about 12k HP. That means with HB you can do every boss in the game without washing. I'm really shortening this out, it's a lot of details and stuff. but long story short, washing IS optional. Just depends on how much content you want to explore and work to explore it. Oh, and you can use Donor on another character on the same account. So you can create a new one on the same account and pass it to them.
Honestly, while i admire the amount of guides on this forum, i have to admit this one and the Honey quest for 500 HP, are like...not hidden but also.. not easy to realize how USEFUL they are and that IT EXISTS I honestly wasn't expecting to skip to bossing,i was hoping to grind comfortably (like be 3-4 hit instead of 1-2 hit by everything) like endgame but i was hoping to just do HH/BF/Zak/Krex at the least to be able to level starting at 135-140 Honestly such a bummer i already spent so much time and resources...to the garbage
Yea I'm sorry. a lot of dated stuff on these forums. Hopefully, a nice revamp/update is coming soon. You can absolutely Krex, HH, BF, Anego, Zak without washing. Just have to use strategy to do it. Anego wont pass the Bar in the map so ranged can comfortably shoot her without getting slapped. BF chasses your puppet around and it's easy to pin or control it. Also has Iframes you can just walk through him if you time it right. You will need HB for Shao or Samurai if >12k -8200k hp clean. By the time you get around to going to Auf Haven or Toad, you should have Dark Knight friends to take you, or have done HP quests enough to have the HP clean. Think of Ruel's HP quest is about 1k HP per month if you stick to it after you hit that unlimited cap.
I see..thanks It still gonna suck to lose like 1 chaos worth of stuff (Scrolled Zak (100m), Glowing Nose (100m on scrolls), 40 APR(400m)) to remake it Also, if i may ask what do you mean before with ''Oh, and you can use Donor on another character on the same account. So you can create a new one on the same account and pass it to them.'' Like i know i can pass the cash equip, but what about the hair/eyes, i still gotta get it again
oh ok just checking if you didn't know that. Yea I hear you. It's not too bad though, you can make 500m pretty easily in this game. Especially if you stick around for a while.
My MM never had more than 150 base INT and she has 18k+ HP thanks to MP washing with vote NX and daily HP quest. You can actually do just fine in 4th job because Snipe does the same amount of damage no matter how much INT you have, so you can kill pap quite comfortably even when you still have INT. You already have more base INT than I did, and I think you probably added it earlier than I did. Sure it is technically less cost-effective, but I had a lot more fun because I can actually play the character as intended so it was worth it for me. Basically, what I'm saying is please do NOT remake your character.
