Compensation for SP lost on a late advancement

Hey guys,

I've been trying to play the game, but I've already spent over 1 hour trying to make a character at the correct level. I've remade my character 3 times already. x_x

 

I did just that. But, I think it would be better if you implement this for the ease of players. If you want, I can write it up for you.

I also messed up my first character. It's just part of the experience, and I hope they leave it exactly the way it is!

 

You can say that, but what if you screw up a high-leveled character like let's say I make it to third job or fourth? Wouldn't that character be a complete waste?

 

Sure would. That's why you have to be very careful when levelling and adding SP or AP. Though I guess you could always buy resets too.

 

Like my high luk/int bowman than I had in GMS when I started out? I think I got that one to level 40ish before I realized that a well rounded character is not that good.

It wasn't a complete waste... I learned not to make a luk/int bowman.

 

Are you sure an SP reset works? o.o If you don't mind implementing the compensation, I could script it up for you if I could figure out what base source you are using.

 

Well, as far as I know, leveling past 30/70 before 2nd/3rd job does not make you miss out on SP - provided you don't use them on the 1st/2nd job skills, of course. I know for a fact that this is true with 4th job, at least.

Just don't level past 8/10... how difficult can that be?

Never have I ever heard someone complain about leveling too quickly.

 

Well it is a complain if you need to relvl again XD I personally got screw over by the path quest coz it give lot of exp and many time people get boosted past 10 or 8 before they job change. For me happen to me on my first character boost to barely 11 coz i turn in the q uest first coz i was clicking too fast and on mage when i was at lvl 7 50% trying to hit 8 but hit lvl 9 at like 1% lol.

 

Have you tried not doing the quests?
Just grind and loot the mesos/etc drops until level 8-10...
It's actually a really easy thing to do and you never over level...................
