hey guys. i've a problem and i have no clue how to solve it. when i open the client there is an error (it doen't metter which) this is because i have a tv plugged into my pc so i tried to plugg out my tv then start the game then plugg the tv again. the game starts at small window and can't use full screen, when tried the game freez but the sound keep going. any solution or other client to play the game? thanks!
This is a known issue. Are you unable to play without the tv plugged at all? Or is the tv your only output device?
How is it connected? Check the driver in windows devmgmt.msc under monitors. See if you can update the driver manually to standard Plug and Play Monitor. Before you do this, restart your computer because if it stops your monitor from working, you may have to restart and press F8 very quickly, and choose "Last known good config" to restore the settings. Press F8 very quickly nonstop because if you miss the f8 screen, windows might overwrite the Last Known good config and you may lose your restore point to before you changed the driver. Though I did some research and people report their TV monitors can use that driver. All it does is prevent from display resolutions greater than 1.2k x .7k
I tried other drivers, none of them works... it's nto stopping my monitor from running.. the maplestyory window stops working.
hey! i had some luck and by changing the resolution to equal\lower then 1360x768 i can play the game with the tv maybe you should put this as one of the solutions caus that works for me thanks for the help btw
wait wait it was because my frame rate refresh was 30mhz if i change it to 60 i can play the game. yea but i dont get it no more so sorry can't tell you what it was
