Notice Updates & Changes 15/02/15

Howdy, Royalists!

A few fixes along with some minor performance improvements today,

List of updates:

• Fixed:
  • Fall damage - When your character falls from great heights the character will be dealt damage.
  • Trap damage - When your character gets hit by trap objects the character will be dealt damage (e.g. Falling rocks, lava, spikes, APQ mobs etc.)
  • Fixed an issue where Party Quest timers would not show on screens when players change maps.
    
  • AmoriaPQ: Fixed an issue in Stage 1 where the 3rd portal was never randomly chosen to be opened when the leader speaks to Amos The Strong.
  • AmoriaPQ: Stage 1 portals do not reload the map when entered and teleport you instead.
  • AmoriaPQ: Stage 5 portal to stage 6 warps the entire party at once when the leader enters the portal.
  • AmoriaPQ: Stage 6 gates now teleport characters past the gates when they are broken, rather than reloading the map.
  • AmoriaPQ: Bonus timer now kicks out at the correct time.
  • Drop rate for Onyx Apples increased slightly.

I would presume so yes. It would take me a long time to type out the names of all the traps that do damage, so just gave a few examples in the post as I figure it was self-explanatory. You could always test it and find out if you want.

 

The drop rate is about 1/3 higher chance for the Onyx Apples, the other drops have not been changed. I'm not sure how you mean the PQ has gotten harder though.

 

How were you able to do APQ with 3 people? Pretty sure you still needed all 6 players to do heart strings and twisted switcher? Unless you mean multi-clienting, because I have heard of some people APQ'ing by themselves with 6 clients, or 2 people with 3 clients each which I thought was pretty ridiculous. So now that the fluttering hearts stage has mobs that deal damage, meaning that you actually have to run, it should hopefully mean that nobody can run to the other end of the map with 6 or 3 clients before getting killed.

 

Have you tried it since the changes? Or are you just guessing that it's not as good anymore? I was informed that players would get on average 1 onyx apple per APQ, 2 if they were lucky, 3 would be very lucky. So it was changed to be around the same as that. As well as this there is the fully functional combination stages which should definitely make things easier and faster to complete. As far as I'm aware we are now the only server to have a fully GMS-like AmoriaPQ which I personally think is an awesome achievement as it is by far one of the harder PQ's to get right.
