Although crashing issues seem to have been mostly resolved since Update 76.1, we are aware that some users are still experiencing occasional issues. If you have experienced crashing issues since the recent update, we would like you to try using the following: 1) Change your client's properties to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7 Find your MapleRoyals folder, should be C:\MapleRoyals\, right click MapleRoyals.exe and select properties. Select the Compatibility tab and tick 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose Windows 7. Click Apply and then launch the client. Describe the issue you were having/still have: Hi matt I have downloaded the above, however I am having ping issues with the server. There is lag where i use my skills and mobs freeze in place and wont die. When I open up more clients around 4-5 clients the issue gets worse even DC. Exchanging a trade from 1 client to another is delayed where 1 client successfully receives the trade and the other is lagging behind. Have Ethernet cable attached to computer so ping issue wont be an issue on my end because I can run other games/applications without ping issue. Note* connection issues deteriorate over time restarting only helps the issue temporarily. Which Operating System are you using: Windows 8 How much RAM does your system have: 16 GB RAM

Did the new installation resolve your issue?: No Describe the issue you were having/still have: APQ - Audio bug > Crash 1st client window with 1st char : No crash but audio issue At 3rd run, upon finishing boss stage, background music bgm is gone completely. But I managed to finish all 4 runs properly. Upon reaching FM, the bgm bugged and looped at the 1st few seconds of the Henesys theme repeatedly. Next is new client window with 2nd char : Audio issue but total crash at 4th stage At 3rd run, upon finishing boss stage, background music bgm is gone completely just like the above I thought it was ok so i went ahead for my 4th run of APQ. But upon finishing the APQ Stage 4 to collect Cupid Code Pieces, I noticed my Sound effect like mob death, skills and potion usage BGM is gone. Ldr loaded the Stage 5 and my client hangs with a black screen, indicating a total crash. Will try >> Restarting my client if I get the same issue after my 3rd run tomorrow and update u all again. Additional troubleshooting has been added to the opening post of this thread; Please try running the client in compatibility mode for Windows 7 as well.

Your issue is a not a client issue, but a connection issue, and you should post in Technical Help alongwith a MTR to 51.68.205.179 Download WinMTR Extract the contents of the .zip file to your desktop. Open the WinMTR folder, then open the folder that matches your version of Windows (32-bit or 64-bit) and run WinMTR.exe. Enter the IP address 51.68.205.179 in the Host field. Click Start, then launch the game you're testing. If no connection issue is found in the first 5 minutes, restart the test. When a connection error occurs, play for at least 5 more minutes, then click Stop in WinMTR. Click "Export Text" and save the .txt file to your desktop. Name this file WinMTR. Copy the contents of the text file to your thread in Technical Help

Did the new installation resolve your issue?: Nope, I still get client crash while i CC. Describe the issue you were having/still have: Well, I log in normally, client runs smoothly, but when I press ESC and I press enter in any option I insta crash. Or, if it doesn't crash (which happen 90% of the times), when I cc I get crash. Also, when i try to enter any boss, for example horntail, when the head comes, the client freezes and I get back to log in screen. Mightt have something to do with how the files have to load when they were split up from wz files. Worth to mention that before the 76 patch I had no trouble at all. It will be a mistake but I'm not sure it is when use freeze skill (crossbowman) to a mob (for example a skeleton in leafre) it doesn't freeze but after 2 minutes it freezes freezing is known to not freeze some mobs I emphasize that a mob (skeleton) should not be immune PS: my PC specs

Using 2 clients. Both crash at the same time.

Frequent DCs and unable to finish boss runs. With the troubleshooting measures, now random lags every 1-2 min. Interesting that Patch 76 fixed the lag (though I had blackscreen Dc issues like many others), but 76.1 brought the lags back. The .img setup resulted in no crash in HT tonight Hopefully it stays this way. Will update again if there are any more crashes.
