Map Allow "Door" skill to be used in Phantom Forest!

    Would be nice if the Bishop "Door" could be used in Phantom Forest. It would make life way easier especially to mule at big foot. It would just make the quality of life better in these maps instead of having to rock every time!

    A Night Lord killing Bigfoots?! this is unacceptable.

    I'd also suggest making it possible to door from the CWK maps like Windraiders, etc. Instead of having to walk outside of the castle to door which is a hassle, lets be honest.

    Indeed door to the CWK portion would be very helpful! ps. i was killing on pally not NL haha :xD:

    Iirc dooring inside the castle is still buggy too. Your door can end up out of bounds, lol.

    As for door in phantom forest, I'm unsure. Lore wise, I don't know if it makes sense but at the same time, you can use tp rocks which is kinda kekw.

    I don't think it's an unreasonable request.

    I think there is some level of skill involved in navigating the phantom forest maps, so I don't know if it's a good idea to enable door there. If there was a poll I would probably vote "no".

    That is a good point, there is currently some inconsistency there. Perhaps either both door and tp rocks should work, or neither of them.

    what about people that already know the map very well. More of a waste of time for them.

    The thing is we can't implement this change only for experienced players, such change would impact everyone. The question is where we draw the line between quality of life changes and making the game easier.

    By the logic of "this game mechanic is wasting experienced player's time" we might as well want to remove bigfoot's iframes - experienced players know how to time their attacks, so for them those iframes are a waste of time and artificially make bigfoot hunting longer, while new/less experienced players have to learn how to fight bigfoot, and this mechanic may be considered as adding difficulty to the boss.

    Similar argument of "wasting time for people who already know XXX" (be it map rotation or boss mechanics or whatever) could be applied to many other topics. As I said above, in my view it's a question of what is QoL and what is decreasing the difficulty of the game.

    1. Non experienced players wont be about to door themselves.
    2. Bigfoot iframes is for another post and another valid topic to bring up in feedback section because that also is..... ?!?!?

    agree with this. Seem like GMS spent quite an effort to make this map navigation complex, it doesn't make sense to make it easier. to be frankly, it's kinda odd to be able to use tp rock in the first place

    No, they won't, but they may get the door from another player, for example if they are buying leech (although that usually requires the buyer to find a bf, so I'm not sure about this example)

    If this is the case. Adding the door wouldn't really change much other than saving players meso. The original player would still have to work his way around the map to even place the door unless he wanted to rock every single time which is unlikely. This being said... If adding the door isn't the case.. remove the TPs completely and make it completely mysterious! I also made a decent point in my next reply below!

    Good point. Bad example the only one that would use the door is the leecher most likely to move his mules in after reaching the map himself after the buyer has found the BF. The door can only be used once the bishop actually gets to the map. This being said its only really a better quality of life for the players mules.

    Already so many ways to minmax everything in this game, i dont see much of a reason to make things easier or convenient for us to minmax even further. I get it, it would be convenient to just have a door, yet it only saves a very small amount of time. Its just not a big deal to just walk.

    Some QoL changes are awesome and warranted, this one would feel kinda "meh" or scummy? Like, lets retain some of the unique annoying shit that nexon left us with?
