The client is still outdated after i downloaded the newest patch

I always try to delete -> download the newest patch whenever comes to update,

but this time i literally cant connect even i have tried those 3 types of ways of download :/

I am having this issue also. Installed the latest patch as per usual, apparently my client is still outdated.

 

GM said there will be new patch tonight for players who had issue with open the game to download,
since Royals is following UK time, and it is 7 or 8am now, I assume it is more likely another few hours of waiting for the new patch

Thought I wasn’t the only one, had this error too..hopefully it’s fixed soon.

 

Try this:
1. Start the game, get error notification
2. Dont click OK or close the notification
3. Click MapleRoyals.exe again
4. Now pres OK on the notification

While it’s not ideal some players said it works for them, myself included.
We are looking into it in the meantime.

 

Nope, doesn't work on me, I have win 8.1 and as I left the notification open, it just won't let me reclick to open the game.

 

I guess it kinda work for me, I just kept clicking mapleroyals until it worked lol

 

yea after i kept spamming the exe. and it worked somehow f3

thou still pretty unstable.

Kuma san and kittle maybe u can try clicking more times! it works ~

 

U left the outdated window then press new client immediately then the next 1-2 second u close the outdated windows.This is how it works for me

Leave the error and open client again and as the new client is loading click ok on the error window. Works for me

 

It was a bug and will be fixed in the next update
