I was in Showa Town, the other street. I had the quest helper window open with a completed quest. I wanted to screenshot the game, pressed the "screenshot" button (unchangeable AFAIK), the window went black and closed right away. No crash report either (if there's supposed to be one). Same thing 2/2 times.
My client continues to crash after pressing scroll lock. I deleted game files before downloading the new new files (after the server check. I get a pop up window that states. "Runtime Error! Program: ...es (x86)\MapleRoyals1024x768\Mapleroyals\MapleRoyals.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." This also causes the client to hard freeze so I have to open the task manager to close the client.
@Matt Figured I'd just post in this thread instead of making a new one. This happens 100% the two times i tested first with a client that had been runing for hours then with the completly fresh client. Let me know if you need any more information. Edit:It worked when i changed the location to desktop
+1 Happens on both resolutions, windowed and full screen mode. However I didn't get any error messages when the client crashes and the screenshots were saved every time.
Your installation is within a folder which usually requires admin privileges, can you try starting the client with admin permissions and see if it solves the issue?
Is your installation also in Program Files(x86) rather than just the root system drive? Edit: Actually, looks like it from the first screenshot, try opening the client as admin and see if it fixes the issue.
Works now, it created its own folder instead of just going to where screenshots from previous patches used to go. Thanks for your help!
