I use Fraps to record everything from gaming moments to evidence to report hackers. After the 76.1 update, I can no longer take videos in MapleRoyals with Fraps (the FPS counter is present, but won't turn red). Weirdly, it is still able to take screenshots. My Fraps is version 3.5.9 I tested that Fraps is working with other games, as well as other Maple servers. And it was definitely working before the update, because I used it to make a report right before the server maintenance on the 24th of Jan 2022. Is there a reason or a fix for this?
GFX helps unstuck fraps and helps here with blinking HT (also after changing the format from JPG to PNG (f10)SS gets less stuck )
Windows 10 has a Nice Build in screenshot feature and with gamebar you can capture video's. It's easy and fast. Just Google it
I'm using shadowplay right now, but I still very much prefer Fraps for it's lightweight-ness. Might try OBS in the future, thanks for the suggestion In addition to the gamebar's inconsistent ability (and also has a delay) to activate through the hotkey, the recordings are locked at 30fps for me sorry, that didn't work for me... My point is that something changed in this update that prevents Fraps from taking videos, something I was using for the past 4 years without issue.
