Closed No Silver mane quest for NL

Hello,

I just decided to do silver mane quest for my char but it seems to be no quest available for my NL (i started playing this char from about 1 year ago along side with my other w chars( dk and BM) and both of them have no issue( 2 completed)), plz check , thank you for your time

 

Can you confirm the following for me?

1. Your NL is in fact an NL (you have completed the fourth job advancement.) See here.
2. I see you completed the Lost Perfume and Lost Saddle quests. Did this character obtain a Hog in Old Source?
3. Does your character have the Hog, Saddle, or perfume in its inventory? (Please indicate which of these three you have.)

You may want to consult Andreas' response in Hog Quest Glitched.

You may already have, but try consulting the New Source Mount Guide and subsequent posts.

 

Hello, refer to ur question

1. Yes I am a 4th job nl
2. Im pretty confused about old sourse and new source but I created this char somewhere around 1 year ago (so mayb its new source) . Further, what i dont understand is I do all the quest with another char (dk) all same together but the dk totally fine and got the mane, when do for my nl I realized that there is no mane quest available.
3. I have 1 hog and 1 saddle and no perfume. I have tried to unequip both hog and saddle but nothing appear in quest available tab.

I read the thread, looks like dropping the hog may cause big trouble if u cant redo the quest so... not going the try to drop hog ...

Just saying to get silver mane quest you must your hog to be at least lvl 3

Solved the problem

I notice that sometimes when I click my char the mount show that it doesnt have any points (all 0) mayb its the reason caused the glitch.
How to solve it:
1. unequip hog
2. click the char info (it might show 0)
3. Equip hog and move
→hog info will come back to normal

Just to note for the future: player's Hog was at max level.
