In other quests that do have this feature, it'd work that whoever in the party reaches the end of the Jump Quest first, per map, it'll complete it for everyone in that party; Allowing to transition to Part 2 or outright complete if completed in Part 2 if party members are in the same map. The repercussions of this is that we'll have services of people running to do the JQ for you, however I see this more of positives outweighing the negatives. -It creates players that are more engaged in their craft to master the Jump Quest to run said service, more involvement is always a plus. -It also makes it more friendly meetings that if you happen to run into players in the same map as you, you both (or more) can party up as you attempt to complete it. --Added to the above, it also allows for guilds to make events for it. Overall I think it'd be a nice feature, though it's fine if there's a negative I've overlooked to shoot down the idea. Thank you for your time.
You really see eliminating one of the few actually challenging (for most people) and most iconic parts of the game having more positives outweighing the negatives? I would not like to see yet another thing be serviceable, bypassing any sort of challenge. This is a no from me. There is already the Alternate Zakum Jump Quest. If you really want, Scar/tar prequests are quite easy and you can get a helm there (at level 90 as opposed to 50) through service. For point 1, avid JQers (I am one) will master it for fun and the enjoyment of completing if they wish to do so. For point two, it's one thing to race someone and do it together, it's another to eliminate what is supposed to be a solo challenge. For point 3, I don't see how this change really helps that all too much. Thank you for your feedback.
I agree with nutleafcity here, I think it’s a unique part that’s added to the game that shouldn’t be sellable. I understand it can be frustrating but if you take your time and are patient, it’s not THAT hard (maybe biased for me because I’ve done it like 20 times in the past 5 years but still)
I just did zak jp on 2 alternates. If you're decent at it, it won't take long. Like I got 2 alts through in the time it took a new guildie to beat the first stage.
If this happens I would go in with a full party of my mules and get 30 eofs just by completing it on 1 char.. Assuming I buy each gold tooth at 2.5m ea, cost of 5 eofs would be 75m. I would profit 25m per char making it 150m profit just by jumping it on one char. ceteris paribus, no one would do other services like selling leech when you can make 150m in 30 +/- minutes whilst having fun jumping
You're assuming either tooth or eye prices won't adjust though. I bet they would, either making eyes cheaper (good, but I doubt it considered they're tied to nx rates), or teeth more expensive (bad for noobs getting their 1st helm, and probably more likely considering there's not many tooth farmers)
