Hi all, I've recently joined MapleRoyals in hopes to relive my old school dexless sin days. Wanted to see if this is viable on this server, and if so, if it requires huge amounts of funding. As a follow up question, what are some quests / maps / other to focus on to start getting mesos to fund my journey? Thanks for your time and I hope you can point me in the right direction
Hi Kenny Going dexless is the meta here for sure and you will require funding to be able to afford decent gear. Please note that hp washing is standard as well. If you don't hp wash you will struggle to have the hp level required to survive bosses once you reach 135+. Personally I'd highly recommend starting a bishop first to fund your NL. Great for money making and you can leech yourself later on as well
Also important to note that there is a daily quest that gives an alternative to hp washing. Helps a lot since HP washing usually requires you to play around it from level 1. If you just make a dexless sin and play like the good ol days, the hp quest is there to back you up when you reach endgame
it depends on how you want to play Maple Royals. If you're looking for that nostalgic feel and community, play the old school way. Don't let anyone convince you that you need to HP wash or leech yourself to enjoy this game. Most players are just regurgitating the same mumbo-jumbo that you must wash/leech/boss and it ruins the game. There are new methods in place for gaining HP, marching, farming, etc. Some might not be as efficient as others, but it really boils down to how you enjoy the game and what will lengthen your playtime on the server. here are several links to point you in the right direction: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/cud...guild-events-·-grinding-·-socializing.195729/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/quests-worth-doing.106856/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/2022-leveling-guide.157840/ https://royals-drops.herokuapp.com/#/search/items https://mrsoupman.github.io/Maple-ACC-calculator/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/price-guide.196504/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/a-comprehensive-night-lord-guide.23303/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/com...ir-of-life-reuel-hp-quest-guide-lv120.178648/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/water-from-the-spring-of-youth.124038/
As a relatively new player (1 1/5 month new) that has been getting into that same mumbo-jumbo meta of leeching and HP washing, thats a really good post to read. Thank you for posting that because thats exactly why i started playing this game at first place. Ive made a bishop to a point to be a money making machine and now im about to start an attacker and got really sad knowing that i would need to leech it all the way to 135 and thought "where is the fun of building it up from 0 and watching its progress?" That opened my eyes: the most efficient exp you gain is the exp you gain having fun
Dont do hp washing. Its a costly way especially for a new player. Alternative hp quest can help gaining hp . Anyway, u entertain the game the way u like.
Hp washing its necesary, almost if you enjoy the game and want to play late game, if he dont wash and he gets lvl 140+ he gonna get stuck because he never survive in any boss run and this is frustating. Im very casual player and im start like you whit the sin nostalgic. Atm i thibk i cant get a NL whit decent hp and mesos, because u gonna need: 1-really realky good int equipment.(also u can put a masive int base) 2-be ready for mesos for ap reset ( a lot again) 3-more mesos for ur att gear 4-more mesos for leech because u are not gonna hit anyrhing until u wash all 135-155. this if u want to do all game boss in future whit ur sin. In my opinion i think server should balances the HP sorry for my english
I agree with what u said. The problem is not hp alone, its about damage. I join a new guild where most of ppl are new in game, everyday they struggling find a pt to join because they are not strong enough. What I want to say is instead of focus on washing hp, save money for the gears and do hp quests. By this way ppl will get there steady unless they want to speed up the process and do illegal things. Look at all the ban appeals.
