I've always had tiny lag spikes since 6 months ago when I got back into Royals, but recently in the last 72-96 hours It's been unplayable, I experience usually short lag spikes from 5-40 seconds but sometimes the spikes last multiple minutes and I'm forced to log out or just see it through if I'm bossing. I've spoken to my guild about this and I have taken a lot of suggestions into account. The way this lag usually works is I will log onto my bishop and try to kill skeles, I kill a few mobs and everything freezes in place, when I use buffs the animation shows up but they don't refresh in the top right corner, on my shad I will try to kill bigfoot hit it a few times and the same thing happens, I have tried using the IMG version no luck, the Wz version no luck, I updated my drivers no luck, I made sure display resolutions was 1920 x 1080 no luck, I switched my refresh rate to 60Hz no luck, I am located in Ontario, Canada not sure if that has something to do with it, but at this point I'm very upset that I cannot comfortably play this game even though I really want to, so I'm reaching out to the forums to see if someone maybe has a suggestion I haven't tried yet that will solve the problem.
Try run this test https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/ IP address for test: 51.68.205.179 This will show if there are any connection issues between you & Royals server. Simply download that software, run it, input that IP address, and click start. Allow it to run 100 tests (which you can tell from the 'Sent' column), then take a screenshot of the program and post it here
The results do not show any network issues, your ping seems fine too Were you experiencing any lag spikes during the test?
no I don’t ever lag in any other games I play or with YouTube/Netflix, etc it’s just been recently with royals I’m not sure why
