So I've invited my brother to play MapleRoyals with me however I already have a pretty decent head start on him (I'm level 83 currently) so I have a few questions if anyone can answer them, in order to avoid any bans. First of all I have read all the rules of the game but maybe I missed some things but here are my questions: 1. am I allowed to help him with funds with my own mesos/ give him zombie teeth for lvling? 2. I know account sharing is not permitted, but am I allowed to go on his character when he reaches level 50 (on my own computer (we live in the same household) in order to help him complete the Zakum jump quest? (he's not the most patient individual when it comes to jump quests) 3. and lastly, aside from mesos, am I allowed to give him any gear or items for his class that I might buy for him if I see it and then later want to give to him? if anyone can answer these questions I would greatly appreciate it, I'm excited to play MR with my brother (we used to play GMS together back in the day) and I want to avoid breaking any rules or getting either of us banned.
1. Yes, as long as you are not receiving anything from him in return IRL. Staff might become suspicious if you give him a lot of wealth (like more than 500m worth), but zombie teeth are cheap and I wouldn't worry about it. 2. Technically, this is not allowed. Royals has an alternate quest line that can be used to obtain Breath of Lava without completing a JQ, but it is very long and takes around a day or two to complete, and might be difficult to do at lv50. Maybe he could buy in-game Smokescreen service from a shadower? I would advise him to just keep trying. (by the way, I have completed that quest line four times and I would gladly do it again) 3. Just like #1, that's completely fine as long as you are giving the items to him and receiving nothing in exchange.
Welcome Nyri, I hope you and your brother enjoy your stay with us and make many great memories! You are allowed to share items, gear, and Mesos with other players even if they are playing in the same household as you. HOWEVER! You are not allowed to log in or share your account information under no circumstances. Lastly, I would like to remind you to register to our Voting Whitelist if you and your brother would like to vote using the same connection. Happy Mapleing!
