Hi folks, refer to the screenshot(s) attached: This is the new couple ring effect of the "Angel Bunny Promise Ring". Would it be possible to change the layering so that text bubbles appear above the ring's effect? As it is now the effect is really jarring and blocks off most of our text speech bubbles. Can't see mine noisy gf's text @lambchop For your consideration if anything can be done, else it really is a nice ring. Cheers!
would it be possible to also lower the vertical distance of the effect from the characters as the current position seems awkward. the appropriate distance can be referenced from most nx rings such as 'Venus Fireworks', 'Crossed Hearts', 'Dragon and Phoenix', and 'Cupid Ring'.
I brought up this issue 3 weeks ago, so sorry for the late update. It seems that changing the layering of the ring effect is beyond a simple WZ edit. Turns out that possibly all ring effects (from what I can tell, I have only looked at a few others) function this way. That is, the effect is on a top-most layer. For example, look at the hilt of the right sword on the Crossed Hearts Ring: Spoiler: Example Or the moon stone wedding ring: Spoiler: Example It is very much possible and easy to move the effect around. Spoiler: Lowered Effect However, we'd have to look at the layering first of course. @Inugami and I also discussed editing the effect itself to be smaller, more transparent, and so on. However, there was no clear solution in that direction due to loss of clarity or quality. We appreciate your patience as we continue to investigate this. Note that there are more high priority tasks in development than this, so it may take a while (I am but a humble manager). In the meantime, perhaps look at it as a good thing (you can block sir lambchop's chatbox ) Censor forelsket!
There is already a fix for this (the chat history box layering, not the original issue) slated for the next patch. This was a result of experimenting due to this particular request.
