Level: 198 Class: Hero Location: Road to Oblivion 4 Percent/Hour: 4.8%/hr (91,500,000 exp/hr) Solo with HS mule Bishop hanging from ladder only. You don't need to clear the bottom two rows of the map, just the two top rows in a small circle, and having the Bishop on the map as your leecher as opposed to any other character saves the 5-10seconds it takes to keep going to the FM every two minutes to rebuff (saves the equivalent of about a full HS worth of training over the course of an hour). Off of memory, this appears to be better exp/hr than duo Petris/Skeles w/1hit mage, and is better than any of the solo exp/hr that mecheez posted even after adjusting for HS. It also matches closely with the duo exp/hr rates he posted, but you require a 128+ Bishop with ToT quests done instead of a duo partner. In order to achieve this much exp/hr, you have to be able to make a full rotation of the above circle at least three times per HS (so forty seconds per rotation). This is possible if you 2hit all the mobs, and are focusing; if you lose focus/get distracted, it becomes difficult to finish the third rotation and you'll have to pull all the mobs along the lower platform to the right without killing them to receive HS before taking them out.
Thanks for the detailed submission, Michael. You'd have to hit 35k per line with Brandish to make this work. Is that asking for a lot for typical players without perfect equips? Would Speed Infusion remedy this? Also, what do you do at that gap in the top middle of the map?
Level: 186 Class: Night lord Location: Road to Oblivion 4 Percent/Hour: ~10%/hr (100mil exp/hr) extra: Duo with a drk of same level. If I focus and taunt every mob and make the most out of HS, I can get .4% each HS. I average about .35% per HS though, which averages out to about 10%/hour.
I don't use attack potions while I train, and the damage from Rush if not left at level 1 helps, so 2hitting the mobs isn't far too difficult for players without perfect gear. Speed infusion would likely be enough to make up for 3hitting but would require you to use FM to buff, which I was trying to avoid in the first place. The small gap in the upper platforms has a convenient little teleporter at the inner edges of the platforms that whisks you across.
Couple Training spots that are kind of old school, and very melee friendly... Level(s): 43-50 IGN/Class: xXAstarothXx/Spearman Location: Mu Lung: Snake Area Percent/Hour: 120% Location: Ludibrium: Toy Factory <Process 2> Zone 2 Percent/Hour: 90%-100%
The room in the Haunted Mansion with 4 Nightmare spawn might prove to be a very good training spot for close combat classes. If you happen to try that place, let me know your results!
Was actually contemplating going there. A lot of the info in this thread is either for high level characters, OR for mages/ranged. Where's the melee rep at? Also, Base dex 60, nothing fancy for equips, att pots are usually Takoyaki Jumbo (SHOWA) or Ciders (SHOWA)
Not sure, but I'm going to put in some submissions in the lower tier Warrior section once this event is over. I'll be Dexless as I do have a good amount of funding, but that shouldn't matter too much in the scheme of things.
Level: 174 Class: Bishop Location: The Dragon Nest Left Behind Percent/Hour: 24.90 (132m exp) I was surprised that I managed that much while still talking with the friend that I was leeching to 120.
Level(s): 52 IGN/Class: xXAstarothXx/Spearman Location: Haunted Mansion: Vanity Room (1) Percent/Hour: 90%
That room is excellent for bandits with haste and savage blow, but I would imagine not so good for warriors. The problem is that the spawn is a bit spread out, even for such a small room (though the respawn rate is pretty fast) so you're never hitting more than 2-3 mobs at once, aka warrior hell. Might be decent on sins also, but it didn't work out well on my bowman, even with some PKB.
Level(s): 146 Class: Bishop Location: The Dragon's Nest Left Behind Percent/Hour: 72%/hr I used Speed Infusion during the entire hour, so the %/hr should be more than normal, I just assume this because SI makes genesis feel like it's casting at double speed. Going to figure out how fast it is without, once I find a skeles map.
How much is that in raw XP? I'm considering pushing more towards having that number because it's more stable when it gets to the end game.
I'm unsure, but with some quick math, i could probably figure this out. My calculator says 85,653,128 (i used the XP chart and multiplied lv146's exp by .72). If needed, I can get an actual number instead of a calculated one, but this might take some time.
