Hey y'all, this has probably been asked before in some form (but i couldn't find a thread): What's the cheapest job to get to decent bossing level? i mean, my hermit is stuck because he needs SO MUCH cash. i'm sure there's another job that's easier to handle (probably a warrior that doesn't need to wash hp?) i just got back to the game for a bit after a long break, take it easy on my noob butt Cheers!
I'm just gonna give you a rank. Going into why one is cheaper than another is a lot of typing. If you're not HP washing (doing HP quests) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT WASH AND JUST DO HP QUESTS. Nothing in this current game needs to HP wash, HP quests are a viable substitute. Just play the class that you will have the most fun in. If that's NL, pick again. 1. Hero 2. Paladin 3. Dark Knight 4. Corsair 5. MM 6. BM 7. Buccaneer 8. Shadower 9. NL If you want to make money 1. Bishop 2. Mages 3. Shadower (farming, Steal+Taunt, BF leech) If you want to be even cheaper and really go crazy. Use 2h Axes as Hero, 2h BW as a Paladin, Polearm as DrK. You can surprisingly be stronger than the meta for A LOT less mesos.
I think @GunzGaming 's list is pretty good, i'd rank Buccaneer a little bit higher, maybe 3rd/4th. It's a class with a lot of versatility and good party buffs, you can often times find parties recruiting buccs for SI (LHC & HT usually). The reality is that as you progress further into your late game, all classes get quite expensive. If you save up funds and vote daily, you can reach gear milestones quite consistently
paladin is also good and cheap, but paladin can't CWK. bucc is probably the cheapest and most beginner friendly end game job - versatile in almost all content - HP washing is kinda optional - mandatory for auf - best level 200 mule - TL is just priceless and worth mentioning again (TL+echo, TL+ress)
what do you mean by HP quests? is this a new thing? is hp washing not needed anymore? my ultimate goal is definitely NL but i can't level because i don't have good enough int equip for HP washing... also, can i boss with a bishop? if not, what's the option for a class that makes money and is able to boss? Thank you all for the replies! <3
