Hi all, sorry in advance for the same old "which class should I pick!" question. I feel like mine is a bit more unique and needs some fine tuning. What class would be best given the following conditions?

    - Unfunded
    - Will not require HP Washing (I think all do at some point but which is bare minimum to still do late game bossing)?
    - Is not a Mage
    - Can solo/group
    - Beginner friendly

I have almost ZERO experience with bossing in general and just want a class I can hop straight into some of the bossing that I've never been able to experience before. I figure later on I could farm APQ to help with money making. From my "research" it seems like there's new HP quests which might help out dramatically so a warrior may not be the "best" fit here?

Sounds like a Bucc/Pally will fit you best, as they don't really require washing (or very little washing) and funding to start bossing.
They deal decent damage with minimal gear and your buffs/utility will always be desired by parties.
Shadower could also be a decent option if you are willing to torture yourself with daily HP quests.

Most people seemed to vote on the Pally but after looking over your guide and the Pally guides Bucc seems more "appealing" to me. Appreciate the feedback.

Following this thread. I'm thinking to start a Shad but really don't want to have to do daily HP washing quests. Is there a way I can like half HP wash but still be able to have fun doing PQs and farming?

Don't play as a pure INT shad. You can start as pure INT (double stab with 4 LUK can kill low lvl enemies just fine) but add/wash fresh AP into LUK if your damage starts to suck too much. Having LUK = INT works fine. Stop adding INT at around 180-200 INT or so and from then on, double wash (add fresh AP to MP, then -MP +LUK). This will give you 85-95 extra MP per level which should easily get you enough HP for literally anything if you do it all the way until bossing level. I did this along with HP quest, using just vote NX, and I have crazy amounts of HP now (25k potential iirc).

It is not as cost efficient as having all your AP in INT, but you can play the game normally this way without leeching. Even with 180 INT you can do daily HP quest, you can solo ellin bosses, you can grind with or without meso explosion, and you'll end up with a character that you actually know how to use because you played the video game instead of afking on a rope.

Thanks for your help. What target HP do you think I need? I was thinking I only need 9.5k so I can tank HT with HB and also I can do Big Boss as long as I have an HB in my party?

Also I'm completely unfunded and new to this server but will I have enough money to HP wash?

Actually don't want to threadjack so made new thread here - Minimum hp washing for unfunded shad | MapleRoyals

Bucc does need some washing though it isn't as hard as the ranged classes.
You also have the Warrior classes that do not need much washing and can stay with just 4 base int and some int items.
Hero is the easiest one but is a bit weak in 1vs1, Paladin has decent damage but isn't that good at multi target (like in CWK) and Drk is good at both 1vs1 and multi target but is much harder to play

I'd suggest pally as you don't have to hp wash at all, you have high single target damage (even unfunded) and you're wanted in every single boss run (Zak, Krex, Ht, etc).

pally requires understanding of elements (for dps, else most people just want you for crash) and bucc super saiyan effect cover up all your nx eq, thus I would suggest shadower.

I started with shadower and zero knowledge to this server and never hp wash on my shadower. I last remember when I was lv140+ I have about 6.5k hp with eq and with meso guard I can tank 13k damage which is sufficient for almost most bosses. If you are thinking to have HB included in pt for final bossing like HT then shadower is also a great choice (with HB and MG you can take all boss damage when your level fits), and personally I feel shadower skills are more stylish compared to wr/bucc XD
