No and not tagged i was 18 it was a racer for night time for cash but once it blew i had to sell part by part then the frame junked
These cars you guys are posting arent pieces of shit... just saying. People out are there drivin beaters, where im from that is a nice car lol. Jacksonville Florida is home to many pieces of shit.
And agreed with Goofy, hondas suck and that auto trans is gna bite the dust. If you're getting a standard it shouldn't be a new one. S2K upgraded right will do trick. Then again I'm not really a boost freak i fix the damage garbage turbos do to cars that can't handle it, daily.
I would've gotten more enjoyment out of a beater civic than my genesis. Worst manual transmission ever made, diff leaking at 10k miles (wtf), snapped an RUCA on a pothole (wtf), shaft play on the turbo...problem after problem.
Hahahahha every car forum that I usual go to, there's always someone that bashes on Florida car owners lol
So, pretty bad with cars myself, but my job (hardware store) is helping me out on starting. My '99 Camry is having issues with it being loud. Before my car broke down nothing was wrong. Then I got a coolant leak and this happened. Ever since my friends fixed the coolant leak, fixed belt, and radiator crack (i think?), it started making this really loud noise when I go above 30. Mileage is 210k, so I don't think it's that. Oil is changed and gas is filled up, but it still does this. Car doesn't shake either (unless I go above 80), it's just loud at such a low speed. This is the only problem my Camry has had, so not so sure on what to do.
Loud as in fan / air noise? If it isnt a rattling or pinging noise it is an evac hose left loose. TRUST me. Look under that hood and all around for the hose that is loose and the idle won't be as rough as i bet it currently is as well. Camrys, around that time, need EVERY rubber evap hose and clamp replaced. If its not left loose it's probably dry rotted. Anything else causing loud noise (valve clearance, etc) would throw a check engine light, with a code. Goodluck! @Catlaunch
My day today so far Customer States: "Feels very dizzy when driving. Please check for any leaks." Bitch see a doctor Customer States: "Since valve covers and oil leak was fixed, tires are riding tough." CMON SRS
EVO is beautiful... if you can afford to nurse the shit out of it. Mitsubishi has always been bad with consistency in maintenance, everyone I know who had an Evo gen.5-8 has had issues, 10 is nice but it's bulky as hell. Also ^^^ don't ever do eBay for a turbo. rip my friend's s14.... also stage 2 isn't too bad for a subie, nothing too major for a self install. EvoX>WRX2005+ or Evo(I-IX)<WRX2005+
