The way it stands now, Royal Guard S, which is the first boss you encounter when running Auf Haven, requires you to have 330 accuracy in order to 100% be able to hit it when you're Level 160+ which leaves Buccaneers and Warriors at a disadvantage due to their naturally low accuracy, forcing them to resort to maple pops and/or accuracy gear. I have built my Buccaneer to have the highest accuracy I could whilst not sacrificing my damage, and so far I only have 199 accuracy, which leaves me with no other option than switching away my STR Maple Leaf and STR Element Pierce to the gears shown in the spoiler below Spoiler: Accuracy gear Not only does is this whole switching back and forth process annoying, easy to forget and makes me lose 200 range, it still leaves me at 233 accuracy, needing non other than a maple pop to be able to 100% hit RGS. My suggestion is to decrease the accuracy needed to something more reasonable, as Auf is run a lot more frequently than The Boss (which also requires high accuracy, but that's another topic).. Why do we have to use 13-17 maple pops per run (5 to 7m if bought at 400k each) while other classes don't? Taking into account that I'm level 200 with very high rolls on my accuracy stat in most of my gear and don't have much more room to improve, not a level 30 full INT NL trying to job advance. The CWKPQ boss Hsalf (Thief boss) requires 202 accuracy for 100% hit rate, which despite being on the higher end, it still is achievable without accuracy potions, that is if you put some effort into getting better accuracy.. Which in my opinion should be the case for RGS. Curious to see what others think about this
I think 250 is also fair because it still incentivizes people to invest in accuracy if they don't want to use maple pops all the time, but still leaves the option for people who want to wear their stronger gear and just use pops to speed up the run. 200 seems too low because it would depreciate probably the biggest reason to ever buy pops, and ultimately could ruin a part in the market. Thank you for suggesting this .
I agree on decreasing the accuracy of royal guard as I do not see a purpose in maintaining the high accuracy as warriors/buccs have to use double the pots compared to others. I would rather have different boss mechanics than high accuracy in any of the future content.
I can see why this was like this originally, but in royals is just trowing another rock to the jobs who already have the hardest path, why spent double money on pots to perform worse than ranged anyway?. Enforicng this: once again as the meta and not just a joke... Doesnt have much sense in this server....
I'm against making an item already well in the market drop dramatically. Hear me out. Panic and Coma decreasing a boss's avoid by 1 per orb for the duration of combo skill's duration
We reduced Royal Guard S‘ avoidability from 90 to 75 in yesterdays Update 81. Thanks for your feedback, moved to accepted!
