Can't log in

    I had trouble last night and now too.. When I enter my user and pass, it gets stuck and doesn't move to the world selection page.

    EDIT: MapleRoyals works on another network, not my home internet. What can I do to fix this?

    Do you use hamachi or any vpn to connect to the internet?

    Hold down the 'Alt' key and open the MapleRoyals application, this should bring up a winskin window, Click 'Quit', and try launching the application again. If this does not work, try rebooting your computer.
    If that don't work try restarting your internet devices and maybe reinstall if still not working.

    I restarted my internet devices, my computer also.. and the winskin quit thing also. Do you think I was IP banned or something from MapleRoyals? My brother was on another account hacking and he got a permanent ban and ever since then it's been acting funky.

    If your brother is in the same house as you then yeah, you won't be able to log into your account either.

    I was able to log in the next day but then I wasn't able to.. I play on a Mac and there are no hacking programs on my computer. Is there anything that can be done for me? I do not think it's fair that I received a punishment for his behavior. I cannot control his computing behavior but I know he will not be playing again.

    Since this is technical help,
    If your brother hacked on your computer there is no way to tell if you are 2 different people or if it's just you having a second account, I have no saying but you will not get unbanned. (my opinion don't count but yeaaa...)

    No, he used a windows computer, I have a MacBook Pro, two different computers, two different accounts. I am not asking to be unbanned, I am asking access to the server. I use Optimum Online so all computers in my household have one IP, so if I am IP banned, then all the computers using my connection will not be able to play Maple Royals.

    Being IP blocked is being banned. If you and 'your brother' played under different IPs, then things would be a bit different.

    Moving forward, why am I being punished for his behavior? This system is quite odd.. If someone at my University was to hack in a building (the whole building has the same IP, same wifi, same connection) one person hacks, the whole building can't play? That makes absolutely no sense. His account is banned, fine, but why am I not allowed to play then? Do you understand what I am saying?
