The Bishop may be in danger when using genesis, getting dispelled and not being able to cast magic guard in time. The earliest this can happen in a realistic scenario is after legs and tails are killed, the party attacking head C when it summons dark wyverns, meaning the body parts still alive are: heads ABC, wings, both hands. Assuming the bishop is cautious enough to not jump into wings and set autohp to max, what is the maxHP a bishop need to survive 100% of the time?

Edit: the only answer I could find is from a somewhat dated guide (7.8khp), but I'm not sure whether the number is reliable https://royals.ms/forum/threads/common-big-bosses-info-how-much-hp-to-tank.129971/

I may be wrong(hope its lower lol): but I think the 7.6-7.8k HP would be the minimum for you bishop to be 100% safe (on the ground) due to Horntail's magic attk. Ofc this will change give or take depending on your weapon def.

Extra side note: I don't see ppl really doing this, but one equip I use for my BS is I scrolled an auf helm with 100% event HP scroll, ends up giving +300 HP. The other equips are pretty commonly used, I can SS my hp equips if you'd like to see what I did for my BS

It depends on what part is alive, head A is the most dangerous because he got a physical iceberg attack that hits high (around 5.5k normally and 7k or more when buffed by wings).
After he dies the other heads only have magic attacks which deal low damage cause elemental resistance cuts their damage by half. Head b only hits something like 2600 and when buffed by wing he will hit around 3200 or 3300 or so.
So even if you don't have much hp getting 3k will increase your chances to survive significantly cause dispels happen mostly at the head b part when head a and wings are already dead

I see bishops survive with 3k and some die with 8k lol! I believe the wing is what gets most people during black WW spawns, think it hits 7-8k?

Thanks for the tip! I'm currently using a Targa helm, but I'll look into getting some HP equips.

Is there a way to see whether the head is buffed up? Is it an icon above the head similar to 'defence up'? Just curious, I might do a bit of testing as I wash my bishop more.

Could be due to various reasons: like ayane said above, head being buffed up; players jumping into arm/wing getting dispelled at the wrong time; reaction time with mg, etc. I currently have 4.3khp, but I'll probably test it out as I get to 5k, 5.5k, 6k, 6.5k, 7k, etc.

Yeah it's some sort of a small sword icon like the Def up one, it can be dispelled by Drks also (I remember heroes and bishops couldn't dispel it, not sure if it changed)
