For what I've understood, crafting these earrings with the Earrings Stimulator in your inventory triggers Ellin to ask you if you want to use it. When using it you get a -5/+5 cast on them at the creation, just like a Chaos Scroll but without using up a slot, with 10% of boom. (correct me if I'm wrong, I got these informations from other players) My questions are: Have you tried this? What did you get? Is it actually worth it? To me it looks great, you basically use up a chaos scroll on them with very low chance of booming and the possibility of having great initial stats, without evening using up a slot! Its actually a +6/-2 because the highest stat (singular) you can get from using a stimulator is 8. That means assuming only one stat got a godroll, you can get a 2/8/2/2 Glittering Altaire Earrings. I have crafted a total of 5-6 Glittering Altaire Earrings, below are the results:- 1) 1/2/2/2 (Stimulator) 2) 2/2/2/2 (Without Stimulator) (Scrolled to 2/12/2/2 with 60% passing 5/7) 3) 2/3/2/2 (Stimulator) 4) Bombed (Stimulator) 5) Bombed (Stimulator) 6) 2/2/2/3 (Stimulator) For the amount of effort needed to get 20 EPQ shards on a server that is PQ-dead, and that I bombed 2 out of 5 times using stimulator, I would say the earrings is definitely worth it as a mid-game item but not worth the effort.
