Even if Scar / Targa would be introduced it wouldn't make zakum obsolete because of the skill books. I don't think the helms would have to be nerfed since they aren't op or anything only an extra 2 stats, plus zak helms can still be used for washing earlier.
But content has nothing to do with the version The server is running on v62 It doesn't matter what content we have, because it's all running on the v62 source
We aren't really talking about the source, we're talking about the content. Content can be added to the v62 source without having to go to v83 source. Any time you add content that came in a different version, you lose a bit of that true v62 feel. I'm all for it to be honest, v83 is far superior, and has much more to offer that doesn't break the game (like BB did).
>Content can be added to the v62 source without having to go to v83 source. True, but most content can't PB's Damage Reflect is something that can't be implemented on the v62 source I do agree with you that most content ruins the v62 feel, like that Alien event that introduced the visitor weapons, for example
When did we have that? Was that an event Royals had before I joined? I kind of liked the agent quest line from GMS, the suit and all that stuff was a fun outfit to wear in the freemarket XD I think that was part of the visitor quest thing, I can't remember if it was or if it's different. Been far too long lol
The Alien event on GMS, my mistake The Agent event took place alongside the Chumji's Watermelon event, and I agree, the suit looked mad fresh
I don't know why some people say Aran's are not that good. I played some v83 servers before I joined Royals and Aran's do great multitarget damage. Usually we'd have an Aran kill something like 1/3 of HT's HP all by himself in a 6-man run. That was on SE though. Also about the whole Scarga vs. Zakum argument you still mostly see Zakum runs happening in v83 due to: • Zakum gives better experience • It drops Skillbooks and Mastery Books Nerfing the helmets would give players no incentive to bother with Scarga.
