Closed Bugged account. Crashes after connecting to servers after 24 oct update

    IGN: Kaleu (Brawler), Shakou (Chief Bandit)
    Problem: Game crashes after choosing a channel or trying to View all characters
    Details: Since the new update my account keeps crashing whenever I try to log into it, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times via add\remove programs both the WZ and IMG versions from both links via the website.

    I receive an error message of

    Dev DaveDeviluke tried to help me in checking the size of the folders as the properties, the version and with his mule account which was able to log into the game.

    We tried via his mule account as well which worked. I do have RP items on my char, some of them are unavailable anymore though I can't recall where my character was last located at.
    I didn't have any issues before the new update as the previous version worked perfectly fine.

    Please see what is the issue with my account, why it is bugged or stuck and the cause of the crashes.

    Do you recall what RP items you were wearing on these characters? Perhaps you can show an SS of the characters' avatar on the character select screen?

    I will try my best to pinpoint the issue before having to push this request to the devs/admins.

    Seems like Kaleu is in Magatia while Shakou is in FM, so can't see any issues there.

    Hello, I'm sorry to see you have been unable to log in to your account.

    After some investigation, the issue appears to be due to character Kaleu being fairly newly created, and how we processed the removal and refund for the Von Leon RP package. Your items have been removed and RP refunded, however your avatar at character selection was not properly updated to reflect the change.

    I have gone ahead and tried updating your character avatar now. Upon first login, the avatar will look like a newly created character, this will fix itself after you have logged in and equipped/unequipped an item of equipment.

    Please let us know if you are able to log in successfully.

    First of all thank you Mat I am able to log successfully now but I am very sad an disappointed.. that unique Von Leon donor was used for a special design I made for my character and as I had expected the whole point of donor clothing is to be kept permanently even after said items are no longer available via the donor shop.

    That what makes them unique to the user.
    I appreciate the refund however I don't truly have a usage for it and I would prefer my items back.

    Kaleu is a new character but he is my character why would donor items for an account would be removed if they are transferred from one char to the other of the same player? I do no see the logic behind it. I have a specific themed styles for each of my characters and it is one of my greatest pleasures while partaking in Maple, so please un-refund the donor points and give my Von Leon items back to Kaleu. I will keep them there if that is an issue.

    I paid for those specific items and I would like to keep them, that is an unjust use of the money I donated.

    we're sorry for this issue however we no longer offer the on Leon RP package due to related VL content we were working with. we understand you chose those specific items for your character look however we chose to refund your RP for this instead. we won't be offering you an exception for your character by undoing the release of that specific RP option
