Skele Leech calculator: buyers have better knowledge to know how much exp they could get approximatively. Feel free to try it out and let me know if there are any questions. Very interesting idea! Love the thought that went in behind this. I noticed that your calculator shows expected projections, but doesn't include output for the actual EXP gain - if I understand correctly, the actual EXP gains and the coloured grading lines in your posts above are manually added? Made a couple of suggested additions to your calculator which hopefully enhances the calculator's utility - let me know if this is of any help. For visual reference, my suggested cell additions are highlighted in light yellow, inputs are in blue text, and my suggested comments/formulas are in red text. Spreadsheet can be accessed HERE 1. Under inputs - added fields for ending level and exp(%), to be filled in after the leech ends. Spoiler: Input Pane Edits 2. Under Outputs - main suggested additions are here: (i) Added calculations for Total EXP Gain '= IF(C4=F4,(F5-C5)*VLOOKUP(C4,$B$53:$C$125,2,0), (((1-C5)*VLOOKUP(C4,$B$53:$C$125,2,0))+(F5*VLOOKUP(F4,$B$53:$C$125,2,0)) + SUMPRODUCT($C$53:$C$125,$D$53:$D$125))/1000000 Spoiler: Logic Red: If no levels are gained, total EXP only accounts for % gain in the current level Orange: If level(s) are gained, calculates EXP required to clear the current level (based on EXP table from rows 50 onward) Green: If level(s) are gained, calculates EXP required to reach the end % of the ending level Pink: Accounts for EXP gained to clear intermediary levels (where total level gain >1) (ii) Added conditionally formatted rows in between each tier, which will light up green when value = 1. Else, these rows conditionally remain uncoloured. These rows will eventually be formatted for text to be white (hence values of 1s and 0s will be non-visible), and row heights reduced to the minimum (see ending sample for reference). Spoiler: Logic These rows will light up based on the total EXP gain to automatically form the "grading" line depending on the seller's performance. Spoiler: Output Pane Edits Ending Samples: Just a rough idea of what the output pane would look like. In this example, inputs for start and end are made in blue text. Accordingly the spreadsheet calculates the Total EXP gain, and the formatted cells automatically light up in green. In a separate example, I tweak the input cells and the output changes accordingly. Third example just for fun, tweaking the blue input cells again.
This is so great! I tried to add an actual total EXP Gain to the calculator yesterday, but the number wasn't right. Spoiler This is the perfect calculator I was looking for. It's so clean and much organized. I finally can stop thinking about how to improve the calculator or do more research to learn how to use Excel You are really pro at Excel. It would be so much better for the community to use your version of the calculator. It is a cool project. Thank you for spending more time looking at the calculator and put effort into this. I'm glad you found it interesting. I was thinking of some parts of the calculator that could still improve, the rating category tags and the price. I would suggest adding "Perfect" and remove "Bad" because "Perfect" is very difficult to achieve unless sellers give extra time. "Bad" is actually not that bad because leechers still could get around 29m~35m EXP per hour. For the price range, it is based on Rate, the EXP range I set was 43m+, 43m~41m, 41m~39m, 39~38m, 38m~35m, 35m~33m, 33m~31m, 31m~29m, 29m- The price decrease by 1.5m in every range. I chose this price range because the rate will not change too much no matter how many total levels are in the party. It could be better if we want to be more specific to find out the actual ratio for Meso and per Rate EXP. If we set 45m exp = 70m Meso, then 1 EXP = 1.555 Meso. We can use (Rate * 1.555) to find out the ideal price range and compare the actual EXP Rate and actual price. This is good information we could see and of course, it's not necessary to use this price because they have their own free will to set whatever the price they like. Another suggestion that might help sellers. I wanted to implement that sellers can know how much exp/hr buyers get just based on their(seller) own exp gain, but I couldn't figure out the EXP formula for sellers. For example, sellers can input their own level and EXP before and after the leech to get their own EXP gain. Then, using sellers' own EXP gain to convert buyers' EXP to get buyers' EXP Rate. Sellers can know buyers' EXP Rates without asking them and compare the calculator table to know their leech efficiency.
Thanks for your kind words Dann! Actually, I was hoping you would add my formulas on to augment your existing calculator - I didn't intend for my sample version to replace the one you built! I'm not really familiar with the formulas you used to calculate expected EXP gain; my sample version only has pasted values in the output table (the expected level and EXP gains aren't dynamic). Not sure if you should link my working in your main post because it was only meant to show you the suggested formulas, and it's not a fully functioning calculator. ^ This is another genius idea, I really like your train of thought. I hope you figure this out! Don't really have the time to work out the formulas for this on the weekdays since work is really busy, but I might have a look on one of these weekends because I genuinely find this idea really interesting.
Is this still working? The result didn't come out when the data is input. Or am I just using it in a wrong way?
yea somehow not working anymore. you can use the other calculator created by Sylafia i might fixed this calculator later
