Hello friends, i got to lvl 30 with my hero and i dont know which weapon path i should choose; sword or axe ? 1h or 2h? I wont have a SI mule or anything like that, and i dislike ST cause of its dex req.. Any suggestions on which will have the most dps? thanks!
Hybrid. Yes it works, you have enough SP to support both masteries and booster. Later on you'll need to decide between axe/sword coma and panic but it's irrelevant since you'll only spam Brandish in the end.
Lots of people did maths and basically SWORD > AXE. I used to do the math too but I forgot the exact details. But, I think axe on average does less DPS, but tends to be cheaper. So, 99%+ of end game Heros use sword.
And if i dont want a st cause of the dex req; and i dont have SI, will a dragon claymore be good or i should go for 1h sword? I understand brother, thank you!
Well, a good goal when on a budget is around 128 att ST. It's okay to have base dex around 40 and get the other from gear. But if, yeah 1h sword or claymore is fine for a while. I'd probably recommend 1h sword over claymore. Claymore is a weapon that requires SI from buccaneer for the att speed bonus or else it's worse than ST.
Maybe go for redner axe, it has fast 5 speed and is not that reliant on si. You can also go for 1h sword+shield like flame sword
Or always can try 1h sword + shield like flame sword no si needed you got max speed attack solo but like they said ST probably is the best choise to use for speed and dps but needs dex
Redner is fast 5 speed like st. Flame sword is fast 4 so you can get full speed with booster and don't need si at all. The problem is that it doesn't benefit from si so if you do get the buff it's quite weak compared to other swords (it has low atk)
