Firstly, I have my jump key on left ALT. Few months back when I was using my old laptop I was able to play with no in-game issues (in this case specifically, able to hold down left ALT and jump continuously.) Using another laptop now, every thing in-game is fine except for the same matter I mentioned. Every time I want to jump, I need to let go of my ALT key and wait for my character to land on the ground again before I am able to jump pressing ALT. Does anyone have a solution for this? Any help is appreciated
This is actually quite common among some laptop keyboards and maplestory. Not sure why it happens but my new laptops mechanical keyboard has the same issue as yours. My old laptop with a chiclet keyboard works fine with those inputs however. Other keys affected besides ALT are CTRL and Shift if you test them out. I haven't found a fix or understand why it happens, but I work around it by plugging an external keyboard into the laptop. This happens only on maplestory.
Yup, CTRL doesn't work as well. It's where my main attacking skill is. Unfortunately I wouldn't like to get a new keyboard just for this.. It's really a bother having to spam my keys and I'm comfortable with this keyboard bindings as well. Oh well, guess we just have to wait till someone knows what this all is about. Thanks!
Im having the same issue with a new laptop. Sticky keys are turned off. If i hold down shift, ctrl or alt the action will only be performed once. Any fix to this nowadays?

Sadly this didn’t solve it for me. It’s only ctrl, alt and shift for me. all other buttons work fine I was told there is a „repeated keys“ option which works but has a delay of 0.3s between every input which also makes it kind of useless for maple

Apparently it's a thing with just a couple different laptops, like my hp laptop. However can be fixed with a usb powered keyboard. Haven't seen a different fix yet.
