Continuous Meso Income

I'll get the question out of the way - What are good methods of income in MapleStory?
I ask this questions because I see people in this forum selling items that can go for 10s of White scrolls, or even reach into the billions of mesos.
And these values seem farfetched if your only method of gaining meso was from grinding mobs.

Though most of my income have come from Gachapons and scrolls and whatnot from grinding mobs,
both of these methods are very time-reliant.
Are there are more effective ways of optimising meso income?

If you're purely in it for money, merchanting is the most efficient way to do it. It's pretty hard and IMO extremely dull, but it's definitely the best way to make cash if you are dedicated.

It's not. Merching only works in high transaction environment. Long term investing is more lucrative over time.

 

What are some viable examples of 'long term investing' in MapleRoyals?
I completely understand if you aren't comfortable talking about meso-making techniques.

AP Resets, White/Chaos Scrolls, certain 30% Scrolls, Godly/Perfect Equipment. Hoard a good amount of them and sell them in bulk. More or less merching, but selling for more than the going price because of bulk.

If you look at the bigger picture, getting billions of mesos is easy. If you have the patience, then you'll get it in no time. Find a fun method for yourself and try new things. This server is streamline enough for methods to stay relatively consistent.

And, @Purrday, I do have a Priest atm, but I don't have a lot of free time to grind and farm.

 

Strange that it's common for bulk to mean higher price. In most economies it means lower price. I guess it makes sense because we have such relative scarcity of resources on the server.

 

Well bulk only means less price if you have a lot different people having them, if you and only a few people posses them it doesn't matter how many you have.
