Corsair, Shadower, Marksman

Right now, I'm confused about 3 classes to play, Corsair, Marksman, Shadower. I have a Shadower already, he's level 135. But corsair and marksman I'd have to start from level 1, which means alot of work to level up, and so on.

Can you explain if I should just play on th ecurrent 135 shadower, or start from level 1 for a corsair or marksman, if they are a better choice? Or they are not a good choice.

 

Depends on what kind of gameplay you will be doing. If you plan on doing alot of bossing, continue your shadower for an easy life. Corsair requires alot of concentration, memorizing boss skills and needs washing or alot of hp questing. Marksman is fantastic for alot of solo content. What it lacks in single target, it makes up for in multi target.

 

If you enjoy pain, main a MM

 

I see, thanks guys. About Xenon, can you explain what you think about it? I can also play Xenon, which I already started. But this is on official post bb maple story server. Not MapleRoyals.

 

Why wouldn't you want to continue on shad? They are tied for most busted class on the server with buccs.

 

all three classes are very good, although with very different playstyles.

my best advice would be to just choose the class you think is the cooler looking one and go with it. the point is to enjoy playing what you want, not what people want you to.

I've always mained marksman and some people think that's cool, some people think I'm a loser too :^).

 

Continue playing shad, leave those behind, u already 135 can start bossing, ez life with shad good luck

 

events with increased xp are always great to make more alternative chars so can "put the others on the shelf" until then

Corsair is a fun / powerful class no need hight valued items to make 30k to 40k each line with ship, of course they are expensive... but if you ask me totally worth ! Try to make your shadower lvl 200 and fund yourself via bosses or leeching. Meanwhile you're doing this, try to get seasons events items on your MM / Corsair so in case you play in the future, they already has a stats boost <3

 

Thanks all for the answers. Can you also answer what I asked? I asked what you think about the Xenon class. or well, the post bb official maple story. Cubes, Potential, Arcane River, 5th job advancement and so on. Or maybe you dont know these things because you play here forever. I dont know. But you really never played on official maple story to know about these things? Like 5th job advancement, arcane river, and the 50 + classes.

I wonder if MapleRoyals will stay the same version forever or possibly add new classes or bosses. The problem on the official maple story is the large amount of unnecessary features. And I hate having to use cubes to adjust potential stats all the time.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if MapleRoyals stayed the same version forever. There is a huge resistance to change in this community. One possibility is they release a sister server, but after 10 years.... who knows

When I started playing on this server 2-3 years ago, I created myself a sair and i really enjoyed until the point when I had to go bossing with people. People prefered taking a NL over a Corsair, because as a main attacker you will always get compared with a NL and since I had no gear my dmg kinda sucked and as a sair you need a lot of experience . Additionally you ll have to wash a lot as corsair and its a pain or you do hp quest (which is a pain aswell) and you need a couple months to be rdy for bossing.
So i quited my sair back then and started a Paladin and it was the best choice. People invited me to HT parties even tough I had like zero gear and switched now back to sair now that I have atleast some gear.
Now what I am trying to tell you is that, if it is your first char you could consider staying on a pt play relevant class. (Paladin, MM, BM, Shad, Bucc, Bs)
Because you are relevant for the party even tough you have lesser dmg to offer

 

I know. I had big enough balls to have the courage to do so.

 

Is Xenon the allstat class? I heard 2L allstat is better than 22*.
