I think all the mobs in LHC should drop Burning Energy's. the reason why im making this thread is because im actively working on scrolling my VL Belt and its difficult to get a full party at Golems. i know im not the only person struggling with this there aren't a lot of people on the server actively working on VL Belts as it is which is why it makes it difficult to find partys. i know there are also a few people that aren't working on the belt and are simply joining Golem partys simply to be able to sell crafting service or for self use. what i'd like to suggest is for all LHC mobs to drop Burning Energy's or maybe lowering the hp/exp of the Golems most people joining Golems only need Burning Energy's or they need to farm the magic scroll for VL. the few that join for exp is because they probably cant find a Bearwolf party and see a smega recruiting Golems and decide some exp is better then none. because lets face it if your joining a LHC party for exp Bearwolfs is the better option Edit Added a Poll. Also i want this Change even if i myself no longer need Burning Energy's i'd want this change for Future players also
I think it's a good change to have because farming for belts is very niche atm and random people won't really join your golem partys. With this I believe full ranged vulture parties will start forming which would also encourage ppl to come just for exp.
Same argument can be said regarding I/L archmages and reindeer. BW is where everyone goes and golems parties are already very niche. Not to mention that people aren't exactly kind and receptive to NLs, not much is going to change and full melee parties that won't take your bishop won't suddenly change their mind and take your bishop or my NL. Indeed, why not? This ain't about balance anymore this is about quality of life and comfort. Do you host golems? Spending 1h or more asking people through discord and then having to smega several times just to have people asking why not bw or what's the advantage of golems when the majority of the playerbase does not care about VL nor VL belts sucks, there aren't that many players doing golems in a consistent basis.
Would be okay with it as long as more popular mobs like bearwolf has reduced drop rate (e.g golem having 100% drop rate, wolf having 30% drop rate) so the average is about the same between all LHC mobs or better yet, lower average such that golem is technically the best to farm them if a full party forms.
Pointless, the majority still want to BW and those that need burning energy are again trying to fill their pityful golem parties, this is at most a "welp if i couldn't host golems or join golems i'll just be punished at bw with lower drop"
Yes, majority would still BW for the higher totem rates too, but energy will be lower or the same. Golem can be if they just need energy such that small party can get as much as a full party at wolf. This way, BW won't just be the best at everything.
could add the option to turn totems into burning energies, just at a lower rate than what you would normally get from golems. my rate with a decent pt composition of 1 hour golem pt usually nets me 90-ish totems : 350-ish burning energy there could be an exchange option at the NPC to turn totems into burning energy at like 100 totems -> 250 burning energy. this way, if someone wants to farm energy, golems pt are still the best source to accumulate energies and will be generally preferred, but not a must, they could always go bw/reindeer/ whatever, to farm the totems and exchange them for energy later on, albeit at a lower rate, but hey, its better than trying to recruit for hours right ?
Let BW be the best at everything, there's not enough players to fill your golem pool. I do insist not to try to balance this, you'll always end with the same issue and the map with the biggest exp/hour is the map that will get the attention of the player base, no matter what you do.
I really like this idea and i think this could ease the pain of grinding for Energy's. i think it would also be easy to implement you could add the exchange option on the fourth tower NPC Added a new poll option for @lxlx Suggestion
How do we feel about this now that the amazing new LHC solo quest drops burning energy from the 3rd map mobs in bonus? Seems like a huge boost to ease crafting requirements overall! I feel like it's enough, but would love to hear from anyone who disagrees
I'm getting roughly 100 energy a day from new quest, which is 1/3-1/4 of a golems run. It's a nice steady income, and I could always join a golems party if I need more. NLs might struggle getting energy here, but they also tend to struggle joining non-golem runs anyways from what I've heard so seems fine
As people mentioned we added an alternate way to farm some burning energies via Rose Garden in Update 84. While it’s not 1:1 what was suggested here we hope it’s ticking the box anyways. Thanks for your feedback!
