I have a really good high powered computer
(8 GB or ram, i7 CPU, Etc.)
But for some reason, the MapleRoyals client never wants to work the first time.
It takes like.. 7+ times to successfully login, and even after that, when I click my character, it just crashes.
Then when I eventually get in game, occasionally if I CC, I'll crash, and have to try again like.. 7 more times..

    I'm running windows 7 Professional.
Idk if it is my fire wall doing this, but it's very frustrating.
I have the latest .WZ files.
If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

    Thank you!

Right click the client, click properties and change the compatibility, I use windows 98/windows ME but you can try anyone that works for you.

The client will start normally and right away if you change compatibility, i'm very sure you didn't try all options or did it the right way.

I've literally tried all the options.
It just doesn't want to let me login.
I have this issue every time I reset my computer.

Is this still the same problem where you have to click the client several times to start it?

Do you have a stable internet connection? are you using VPN to connect to mapleroyals?
    Try restarting your internet devices.

You are talking about several problems that I think are different things,
changing the compatibility fixes the amount of times you need to click the client before it starts.
For me it looks like this.

You are saying you have this problem everytime you restart your pc? that means you are saying the problems are fixed? I'm not sure what problem you get back when you restart you pc, is it all the problems?

This may be a long shot but I'm thinking it could be hard drive failure. I had frequent problems with program crashes on my old HDD. Like running multiple programs at once would almost certainly cause programs to randomly crash on me. After I threw away my old HDD and bought a new SSD these problems have ceased to exist for me.

    Let me explain:

When I turn off my computer at night, and then on again in the morning, it takes 10-15 tries to get maple running properly.
First, it doesn't let me login, and gives me the "unable to connect to the server there may be a server check" error the first few times.
Then the game will eventually boot up.
I login, character freezes, and I get the same error again.
I try this another 10 times, I finally login.
But then, if I change channels, I disconnect.
    This happens 3-5 more times.
I eventually get it to work, and have no issues until I reset my computer again.

    I'm using windows 7 professional.

I would also like to mention, I have the latest wz files, and such.
I've tried every compatibility with the client.
    Same issue every time.

I love how I can run most new games on 60fps, 1080p, but I have issues running a simple game like maple :p

First time you mention what error you are getting, changing compatibility don't fix (unable to connect)

It sounds a lot more that you have a bad connection, do you use VPN? is your internet bad e.g. the speed.

Nope, We actually just upgraded our internet, so the speed should actually be improved.
Got a whole new modem and everything.
Only thing that changed is my IP.

Maybe try pinging the server and see what your average ping is.
When I use cmd i get 167 ms in ping.
