I'm not sure exactly what it could be. So I'll be playing fine with no visual/server sided lag and suddenly mobs will stop moving/receiving damage, chatbox comes to a halt, everything that would make you to believe the server is freezing. This has been a frequent issue some days in the past during events(Halloween/Christmas event) and since then It was not much of an issue until recently, although this problem has not been limited to ToT(has occurred during bossruns.. incredibly frustrating to cope with, knowing no one else is lagging.), When I'm going to ToT I enter a map, usually 2nd or 3rd memory lane or in the midst of Road of Ragrets, The freeze problem occurs. the first few times I waited it out(up to 45 minutes or so) before I get dc'ed either by client crash or a return to login screen message "unable to connect to server." Now I have tried Reinstalling, playing on a different wifi, closing all outside programs, ensuring no one else is taking bandwidth from my internet, restarted my computer, and even adjusting settings in parallels to try to avoid it. All with no avail, as the problem comes and goes at complete random. However today it consisted since a few hours after restart. I logged and krex'd and went around fine with no issues until I went to help my friend with the memory lane quests. Upon relog I would put my effect on, pull out my pet, use an attack pot/buff so I can continue helping.. but as soon as I attack, it appears to be a server freeze while no one else is experiencing it.(upon relog:"why do you dc so much lol"). TL : DR: Looks like server freeze, but is only me. No lag on anything but the program itself so I know it's not my internet/computer. Skills cease to work, Buffs will flash but not expire, mobs take no dmg/don't move, chatbox ceases, and portals no longer work. ONLY SOLUTION FOUND: give up and log off.
Does this happen on any map with monsters in it maybe? @Matt tagging you to bring this to your attention
Are you able to check whether he issue happens from a different computer on the same wifi? I've seen issues like this before but they do seem localised to the computer they are using - although we still don't know the cause yet, if this is the same thing.
I've been able to use my computer in a different location, although I haven't been able to play on a different computer at all.
While you were offline I had logged into your account and was able to stay logged in for 10-15 minutes without any issues. Can you try reinstalling the game if you are still having the issues?
