First character, cleric atm. How much am I missing out long term by not investing in MP -> Int already? If it okay to leave it until 120+? Would it be better to not assign AP after 100 or so until I have the APR? Roughly how much less MP would that end up being? Would there be any other negatives long term by saving up my AP while continuing to level. I'm conscious that I'm not making nearly enough to fund APR's, I know I can use everstones/kill myself, but I feel like my earning potential should skyrocket after 4th job. Basically I'm just wanting to know how I should be progressing optimally, but also taking into account increased earning potential after 4th job. Thank you.
Clerics don't really need to think about washing until at the very least lv 130. Just keep adding it all to int.
A minor one, actually. Having higher int means you gain more MP on each level, so you're losing a bit of potential MP each level up you do without that AP spent. Yes you can spend more and recover that, but what's the point in saving it all then? You're just increasing costs and decreasing your damage.
I might be misunderstanding how the formula works, but I'm assuming 50 AP saved at even 500 INT would be around 2400 additional MP when I do have the available APR's, which would end up more total than if the 50 points were instead assigned as I level since it would be less than 10% of my total INT by that point? Hope I don't sound argumentative btw, really appreciate the help. <3
Unless you have very ambitious goals such as 30/30 (which isn't worth it btw) fresh AP isn't the issue - you get plenty. The barrier is mainly in meso cost for aprs
