No because if you dc at an area boss which happens more often than it should, someone else can come and claim it. Plus it makes it easier to track hackers and other area boss runners. Any reason why you personally want the change?
It's not "enough" if you didn't suggest how much shorter should it be 2 minutes? 1 minute? 30 seconds?
I think OP is saying to shorten mapowner if they cc but not if they dc without ccing. So stopper channels are safe. I agree, it's really obnoxious if you make a boss spawn and someone comes back to the channel while their mapowner from before you entered is still active. I usually see this in ToT.
