Uhm... new godly items system?

We'd have seen waaaayyyyy more 56 att ones by now if they existed previously.

This is a worrying bug, if it is a bug, because it'll really affect the server economy.

[edit] some simple logic:
If 56 att are possible, max clean is 51.
To get a 56 att: 51+5
To get a 55 att: 51+4 or 50+5
So, a 56 att should exist for every two 55 atts that have ever existed, which obviously wasn't the case before now.

 

keep in mind that bbb is not v62

 

Take that database information with a grain of salt. A lot of the average numbers on that database is wrong.

 

Did you even read what I said? I said under my assumption, one would have to assume that BBB is wrong.

And that we were only getting +4 MAX BEFORE from godly, which why cravens were only maxed out at 50.

 

Maybe @Matt could give some clarification on how this works exactly.

 

I was thinking that this might have something to do with certain monsters that drop both a Red Craven and Sparta. Only ones that cone to mind are Leviathan and Krexel. Perhaps the Red Cravens and Spartas that they drop have a higher attack rate than ones that drop from regular mobs? Something similar has happened to Omega Spears having a Normal Speed instead of a Slow Speed when Ulu City was released.

 

I dont think so, i saw other items with over 4+ stats aswell.

Hey I know the feeling... a long time ago I spent a lot of money scrolling a 119 att Fairfrozen, which was considered godly at the time. People would say "OMG so pro"

Then later they released Leafre and 4th job and Pinakas were dropping all over the place. And my godly Fairfrozen became shit.

 

And this just happened, approx 1929 GMT

 

Whoa...there's going to be some serious rioting if the godly system has been changed.

We are actively looking into the situation and attempting to find a proper solution for players who have already perfected weapons or in the process of perfecting weapons that they previously believed were "perfect clean."

Please be patient; you will hear back with an official statement as soon as we can provide one.

A couple of other clarification points:
- The godly system is now +5 as it was always intended to be, and as far as I know, that is here to stay.
- Red Cravens have always been up to 51 clean in every pre-BB server I've ever been on, regardless of what Hidden-Street says, so the previous 55atk "max" was 51+4, not 50+5.

 

Not to be a dick since I obviously just got one, but make sure to be real careful about that. A good solution would be not to just add 1 att to people that have before-perfect equips - as there was no gaurantee that equip WOULD have been actually perfect and the obvious price difference
