Hello everyone, well, I come here to blurt out, I played over 1 year in the pandemic then i leave it because of lack of time and i needed money in game, so i was voting, but i would always forgot. I set up a BS 136 and a bucc 51, i learned that my bucc probably wont work that great because i should be washing him, my goal is to make an NL, thats why the BS first, to make money, i have spent a lot of money (for me) making my BS, he is not ideal, could use some better items but i scrolled everything i have, he is good, i just needed the MW20, i collected more 2B after probably already had spent over 6B making him, then the mw20 failed XD, its been 2 days, i came back to play like 1 week ago, i'm broke, I got like 100m, telling this some of you my think, what a filthy casual crybaby, i kinda feel like this to be honest, i wanna play the game and probably will ontinue to play it, but this is gonna make me slow down soo much, im still in shock, the person who sold me was sad for me but i just quited the game at the time, i was tired and didnt want the person to feel guilty about me, because its not his/her fault, i play just about a bit of everything but was never really good at any game, i like a challange, i like souls games for example, but i'm at an impasse, some people helped me in the beginning, 3 people got me 1m, 1 got me 10m and a random legend who i just asked about his green bandana gave me 100m to buy pots, i got no real friends who play this game, i played when i was a kid and still love this game, its the only MMO i ever enjoyed. As i said at the start i came here to blurt out so whatever you might have to say to me i take it as a constructive criticism, if you say i just need to farm more i'll take it, but if you have a real tip to make me richier i would apreciate it, because when i was a kid i never passed lvl120, so i might just be frustrated with something thats not a big deal, and i can make that money faster now im at high lvl, idk, if you wanna give me a mw20 i'll take it too XD, again i like a challange and i would pay you back, because with the mw20 i could make money faster, i dont want a sugardaddy to fund me. Everyone on this community was always nice, thats why i'm writing this whiny letter and also why i feel shit to post this, because i have had help already. Thanks everyone!
If I were you I'd just relax and focus on goals in the game that don't require so much money (PQ, monster card hunting, questing, whatever you find fun). Then over time you'll get NX from voting and you can save up enough to gach/APR to buy MW20 (maybe consider saving up for a guaranteed MW20 service so you don't have to be in this situation again). IMO once your gameplay becomes about making mesos it gets boring quick.
I've seen people on discord selling it for 3B, but it might take some time to find someone who's currently selling it.
While mesos are useful, it's important to know that there's no way to get rich fast. Sure, some methods are faster than others but if you want a perfect weapon for example, it'll take dozens to hundreds of hours of work no matter what (unless you RWT/vote abuse, in which case you can enjoy your perf weapon for the short time it takes for you to get banned). Ultimately what this means is that if your goals require a lot of mesos (washing heavily, perfecting gear, etc), you'll be spending quite a while getting those. That makes it essential to find meso making methods you enjoy - some people run apq all day long, some prefer to leech, others might stay in FM merching all day, some might mage farm, and others boss for splits. There's a lot of ways to profit, so I'd suggest trying a few out and do what you enjoy. Otherwise you'll burn out and not really enjoy things anymore
Thanks again, guess I thought I was doing something wrong, thanks for the tips to make money, and as blastoise009 and you said I should try to focus on other things, i guess i was slave of my BS so i could aford the NL, im thinking of making another class
At the end of the day this is a game, and if you're not enjoying yourself collecting mesos and failing a book, try another way. Some people enjoy farming, others quests, others bosses, others socializing. That's the great thing about MapleStory, there's tons of ways to enjoy the game. MW20 and your NL can wait, your fun should be your priority.
