Im new to this server and havent been able to play yet. I was reading through various ban appeals and came across the one below. Can a staff member provide more details about this incident so I can better understand how to not get banned? Would also appreciate other specific examples of things not to say. I read through the TOS and I cant say I recall seeing something like this specific example.
I am not staff and also wasn't present during the time of this appeal but I can tell you a bit about the guidelines Generally, don't joke about breaking the rules, not in chat and especially not in smegas. Staff can ban for 'believable claim' of rule-breaking. examples: - recent real smega of "B> MW20 for League of Legends content" got banned for believable claim RWT - something like "Hi this is [player]'s sister and I'm single hmu" as a joke from an account that does not belong to the player's sister would likely be banned for account sharing etc Hope that's clear enough. Basically don't write something, especially sarcastically or ironically, that can be interpreted as you claiming to break a rule

That is hilarious. Thats a new one for me Back to the other thread, did the player get penalized for making a false public claim about someone named Tim? Im still not sure what happened and I dont want to make the same error.
Wasn't around at the time, so I don't know what the player said Can only recommend not making false claims (regardless of player or Staff), cause it can be bannable depending on the situation (the term that was used) *if gonna joke with friends, hope the friend is okay with such claims
highly suggest reading through the ToS for sure and familirize yourself with it. Lot of ppl make "jokes" that get them banned, but sometimes you wonder if someone responded seriously to said "joke" i feel like they prob would go through with it lol anyways, good on you for asking. 1.I say stay away from mentioning any sort of outside transaction involving this game, whether real or not 2. dont vote more than once per 24hrs, regardless of how many accounts you have
