So I understand the concept of HP washing and I did it for about 5 levels on my Ranger before I couldn't anymore, and I understood every class has a minimum dex and whatnot. However, why is it that the max MP shown on my MP bar and the MAX MP shown when I use an AP reset are different. The MAX MP shown in the AP reset is usually 100 or so less than my actual MP, I can post a pic. Is the only way for me to continue HP washing to wear int equip when levelling?
Just know that bowmen lose 12 MP per reset and that 10 INT is roughly 1 MP. If you want to do one wash per level, level with 120 INT. Job advancing gives some mp too, usually enough for 5-10 washes but that's not much. It's fine if you want to wash every other level too if 120 INT is too much. I recommend adding some base INT. Personally, I added 50 base on my Night Lord. Here's the guide I use with formulas to calculate how much washing you can do and stuff. IMO, just follow what I said and you'll be fine. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-HP-Washing-A-Comprehensive-Guide-329.html
There's actually not that many bosses that require washing in this version. It is convenient at times sure, but only thing that needs it is HT. Though you'll have enough HP for it with HB at 170+, which is the recommended level for it anyhow due to the level differences. Would be convenient at crow too if there is no one luring himes. BF is quite easy and fast on NLs, won't be hitting you at all unless you make a mistake. Avoiding hits from anego is easy as well. You'll eventually get enough HP for pianus. Zak no problem. Bodyguards easy, the boss too. Usually if I've wanted to train fast on an NL in v62 I've skipped washing completely, though afterwards made high HP ones just for fun. So no need for washing.
HP washing is needed for warriors either, it's just a luxury. Considering warriors have enough HP to kill PB without washing, you should be fine at HT with clean HP as well.
Well of course it is for convenience, but it is definitely needed for non mage and warrior classes if they want to HT at a low level. And for Warriors it is also nice to be able to Zerk nicely/anego (before PG was patched).
Yeah, of course it's nice to do, I'm just saying if you're low on funds and don't want to have to spend time washing and you don't want to be a mage, a warrior is another viable option. Obviously a washed warrior is better but it's not necessary.
Hello, the formula for xbowman says 14*level + 148, in my case 14*52 + 148 = 876, I currently have 890 mp and I can't use AP resets, does anyone know why?
You need to first add one AP to HP then use an AP Reset to take away from your MP into wherever your want. Read his question again. He asked for equips that give MP, not Int.
