Notice 'Godly Items' Adjustment

    Hi Royallers,

    Some of you may have noticed that recently there was a fix done to the 'godly items' feature. The feature now correctly adds up to an additional +5 to the the main stats at the correct chance rate. Previously the chance of getting an item with +5 was almost impossible due to a problem in the code for the feature. Along with this change, a few issues have arisen in regards to weapons owned by some players which were previously thought of as having the best possible stats. Therefore, we have decided to take some actions to rectify the majority of issues.

    There will be server check occurring at 23:40 GMT (server time) on 25th March 2015 lasting, approximately, until 01:00 GMT (server time) on 26th March 2015. The following changes will be made:
    • All weapons that are 8 or 9 weapon attack or magic attack above their average and have all their upgrade slots remaining will have their weapon attack or magic attack increased by 1.
    • All weapons that were originally 8 or 9 weapon attack or magic attack above their average and are either partially scrolled to the best possible outcome, or fully scrolled to the best possible outcome will have their weapon attack or magic attack increased by 1.
    • Dragon Khanjar's that have 20 or 21 weapon attack with all upgrade slots remaining will have their weapon attack increased by 1.
    • Horntail Pendant's that have 2 upgrade slots remaining and have either 26 or 27 str, dex, int, or luk, will have the applicable stat increased by 1.
    These are the only items that will be being changed.

    We apologise for the inconvenience caused to some players by the godly items fix. Hopefully these changes will make things more fair to those who feel they had lost out dramatically.

    By the way, I assume secondary stats will not be added? e.g. +1 LUK on a Red Craven or Dragon Purple Sleeve?

    I think we should just be grateful with what we got instead of pushing for a measly 1luk ;-; but I guess some people are perfectionists.

    So are my fallen leaf earrings (being a magic attack based item) with previously perfect magic attack (and on their way to being perfectly scrolled) included in this, or are weapons and dragon khanjars the only weapon/magic attack items being considered?

    I'm not asking for myself, I'm lacking 2 LUK to begin with lol. More for people like @Plenty or @Gangsta, who are really that perfectionistic. And I'm grateful! :p

    Correct, only Weapon attack and Magic attack will be influenced with these changes on weapons.

    Not understanding the reasoning behind that, with earrings being at least as significant to mages as d.khanjars are to shads.... but I guess I'll have to live with it.

    If you really want perfect earrings you could always make a pair of Crystal leaf earrings that have 3 magic atk and 6 slots clean.

    Since I want perfect fallen leafs, not perfect crystal leafs, I guess I'll just have to go put in another 70 hours at red slimes to find my second godly pair. Or maybe I'll just give up on earrings all together.

    I'm not upset about not getting a free stat, It's that I don't understand what reasoning says "your perfect item isn't worth as much as other perfect items." I understand that you couldn't please everyone in this process, and someone has to get left out. I just wonder what logic says to draw the line at D.khanjars and not other secondary equips.

    would it be possible to consider pink Gaia capes as well? because they are considered to be end game equips.

    This is one of the things that I tried explaining earlier. By compensating only a portion of the items, others won't get a compensation at all. Yet they would have the exact same reasoning for compensation as with the other items and that seems a little unfair. I understand that trying to get everyone happy with a compensation is impossible, but that is why I was mainly in favor for no compensation at all.

    This whole mess happened because the people who previously used 70 white scrolls and 10% scrolls on 1 below perfect weapons got upset.

    Did you use 50 white scrolls and 10% on your earring/cape?
