Closed Kenta's Advice quest effect (pet walking speed) keeps resetting on one pet on only one character

    I have two pets on this character (1st: (baby) Dragon 2nd: Mir) and the walking speed effect from Kenta's Advice keeps resetting on the Mir pet. When I visit Kenta and "re-complete" the quest with both pets out, the walking speed is fixed and I verified it stays even when returning the pets to the inventory, but the Mir pet goes back to lagging behind eventually (I think it's after logging out).

    I have visited Kenta three times already so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. This does not occur on my other characters who also have two pets.

    Need do pet by pet for it to work (you don't need redo/farm etc again) just get them out 1by1 when finish quest
    Not sure if bug or intended

    Have you talked to Kenta with only the Mir pet out?
    (as per what MaiAh suggested)

    After several days of the problem not returning despite logging out, I think I can conclude the fix was to only bring out the second pet and reset the quest with Kenta. Thank you both!
