Please add this mighty item into royals! Its possible to make it as a quest line reward item something that connects to sewers maybe in nautilus could be fun as no1 really going there. Like doing a few quests on the ship in nautilus and you get this as a reward. what you think? it wont effect the game\gameplay as its "useless" item but kinda fun to get.
Seems overkill to add a custom quest line for it, maybe just add to vendor? But the game already has many novelty equips.
shouldn't be too overkill imo it should be even like some small talk between npcs there and maybe collect something in there. no1 goes to that town anyways so maybe it can be a good addition. shouldn't be too hard imo
I think the easiest place to add it - if it does - would be to throw it into Sleepywood Gacha with the other novelty equips it has.
yeah, it will make it easy. but i rather to be able to get this item by doing something cool than just gacha like every other items. seems more fun imo

May I ask, what is it about this weapon, that makes you want it implemented into the game? I'm not for or against your idea personally, I would just like to hear the reasoning behind why the time should be taken by staff to input it into the game over other projects that could be worked on. Does it serve any purpose at all other than "just because"?
It wont be getting into the game than other projects nor they will need to work hard for it. The item already exists and they can just make a quick quest to get it. I dont think its a hard work to do comparing other "projects" they want to make. The item has no "meaning" aside being a cool item to use and have ingame, Just like many items such as bamboo spear, bamboo weapon, toymaker hammer and many more.
I don't think this is actually true- unused items that already existed in the client source usually show up with a library search. (e.g. Malaysia Flag). So at the very least they'd have to track down the files in another source, assign an ID, and then test to make sure the animations ported over properly. If you look at the reasons they've added custom quests in the past (Elixir of life, Bobby Buzzcut, Adventurer's Assignment), they all serve a greater purpose to the community so I'd hazard a guess that it's more time consuming to add quests than we'd expect.
It is true, but I do think of adding it to the game shouldn't be an issue as its a stock item. Also , you gave these royal made quests examps and they are no near close to the steel pipe quests that i have in mind, which is just a small dialoge and collecting a few stuff around natulios. I don't mind even giving the full idea of the quest(s) if ever needed and requested by the GM \ game developers in order to make it happen quickly.
Nice looking weapon I guess. Would be fitting to get it from some kerning quest line, or make it an NX weapon cover. Taking a brief look through the image file for the weapon in GMS, it's a nuisance to port over. Actually, looking at the V140 GMS files, it should be trivial to implement it in Royals from there (item ID 1322006). However, there are dozens of weapons like this that could be considered a novelty in Royals. Not sure if any staff member is interested in investing the time for this, but you could outline your idea for a questline or something. You could also petition for the Design a Quest forum event to come back and pitch your ideas through there.
Like i said, I dont think importing the item is an issue as its still in GMS and its a vanila item. I do NOT want it to be a nx cover to be honest, as my Waterworks cape idea got into nx item and its almost impossible to get one sadly. Yeah kerning city quest line is a good idea too. I wanted to try the natulius map as no1 usually goes there so there might be a reason to go to. I will check the ddesign a quest soon, thank you.
I was just reaffirming that porting it in would be easy, as being in GMS and a 'vanilla item' are not perfect indicators. The fact that it is in a higher version of GMS is precisely what would make it annoying to implement, as GMS has properties in the WZ files which are incompatible with the Royals client (which is why I had to look for the image file of the weapon in v140 and not the most up-to-date version.) This way if the item is to be implemented a dev won't waste their time fiddling with the higher version file. I would prefer it to be an NX cover so that it could be worn over most 1handed weapons, but that's just my personal opinion.
Personally I'm leaning more towards just an nx cover. Doesn't make much sense to design a quest line for a level 10 weapon.

sure thing! just want to add that this item is already in game, and is actually in someone's inventory. it just not possible to get anymore apprently. even GM bacon was trying to trace it and couldn't.
