If you would think 2 steps further, more concertos good or bad equals more possibly dragon revolvers, and that would give you an easier time getting end game item, of course NL's settle for cravens good luck finding a purple sleeve.
I'm going to farm more at Cornians tonight and will report back the results. And thats a good point about the double usage. However.. you still have to get a concerto in the first place And then crafting also ends up costing a lot of money as well. I am open to hearing about other problems classes had, obviously I'm biased to Corsair problem, so I appreciate the feedback.
There are more perfect purple sleeves than revolvers because more people gach at kerning. Few people have a reason to gach at nautilus so there's not many revolvers in circulation. Also there are NLs who do settle for a perfect craven or a green sleeve. See: Marty, Gangsta, Plenty, Nessi and several others who have 90/91 attack Cravens or 94/95 sleeves. Id say it's easier for us NLs to get our end game weapon- also keep in mind that there are a lot more 55/56 attack Cravens farmed daily so people can afford to 30 the first slot or two.. Concertos are more rare (no one goes to newts for long, or dark cornians), so sairs have a harder /more expensive time I think. The same goes for marksmen - dark nescheres only drop at one of the Tot mobs and I think maybe one other place. It's just as hard for them I think, if not harder since people are more likely to npc crossbows due to the lack of mms.
If the concerto drop rate increases as a result of the points made in this post, Court I will lofe u 5ever.
Ohhh! Skis is def another comparable one. That should get fixed too. And ty Kivin. I am doing this for all of us. <3 long live corsairs
I honestly do not mind the drop being so horrible. Makes it more exciting to find a really good weapon. Its kinda why i chose the sairlife. It is a tough one and you have to work hard to succeed but when u do, u are borderline overpowered.
Please Kevin, we all know you will quit this char within a month and start a new one so why even bother about concertos
*Cough* magnet You are practically forced to settle, unless you wanna gach in kerning for a year and hope you are lucky. The argument was for "perfect" weapon not settle with less attack, then anyone can just say go with a lesser attack weapon. I don't think many would 30% a perfect weapon and craven isn't perfect, more people gach in kerning but even more gach in NLC.
In fact, most NLs settle for perfecting a Red Craven, since they're cheap and getting a (near-)perfect Purple Sleeve is very hard and will cost billions. Green sleeves and Red Cravens have almost the same potential damage, so... Edit: just saw sila's post, my phone didn't load the last 10 posts. I might also add (fun fact!) that the best clean Dragon Revolver came from HT.
If you're looking at paying 15m for a bad concerto just to forge then you're crazy. I used to float ~20 concertos in my inventory until I decided to NPC them because I was too lazy to get the materials to craft them. Yes, it is more difficult to get concertos, but we also have much less corsairs and have less competition for the weapons. Also, if you're willing to WS a 3 off concerto you're also crazy. Madison, like a reasonable player, even used 2 30's on a fully perfect concerto before WSing. Would I as a corsair player love it if they randomly buffed concerto drop rate? Sure, but it's not necessary, and at this point I find is just whining.
We all got our beefs and problems tbh. Some are worse some not so much. The bottom line is we all have skewed views. A class you played to 155 and beyond is gonna be something you know all the struggles of. It's all about perspective and no one can be completely objective. I.E. The Canadian has his points about NL's (Alchemist and SS mainly for trev) but like "ego" said magnet. Every class had advantages and disadvantages. It is what it is
Probly so. I'm just mellow and really 0 fucks given about balancing lmao. Balancing classes starts a never ending cycle of issues brought up by platesr > game changes made > players finding new problems....etc....etc
^ What Plenty said. I just thought this was relevant because of the recent decisions that had to be made about what type of weapons to buff. I didn't expect anyone to just buff the Concerto rate sky high, I just thought this would be a good discussion to have about the different values of weapons. Also, I've farmed at Cornians now for about ~5 hours and I would say the rate is a bit better. More like an hour per Concerto which is MUCH more do-able then one every three hours, so I'm feeling a bit more optimistic.
