I feel like this thread should be locked now. It has served its purpose and is simply flame on both sides.
It would be nice to hear the staff's opinion on it before locking it. The purpose wasn't to compare corsairs with nightlords but nightlords keep thinking that just because a nightlord weapon was used as an example. The purpose of this thread was to see whether the suggestion for a balance in droprates in any way would be considered. Since people kept taking offense to certain details it got off topic. That however does not mean that the original topic has been dealt with.
Personally I feel that the whole idea of balancing things is only reasonable if it's done during beta or shortly after the server goes public. The server has been running for over a year and if you change things this late into the game, older players usually lose out. Edit: One more point here: If the situation is bad enough to consider balancing, wouldn't this have been fixed in the first year of this server? Why would no other corsair have asked for this? I can't speak for corsairs here, but if sky ski's were made more common this late into the game, all the skis that people currently have would be devaluated. It never feels right if that happens, even if it is selfish and also a bit childish, I always feel betrayed when people who come after me just have it easier for no reason. I always liked that things were so unbalanced in the old maplestory. I think that the variety adds to the fun of the game, you just have accept your upgrading/gear situation as part of your classes' gameplay.
The drop rate of Concerto from Dark Cornians is fine, in my experience 1-2 an hour is acceptable. If you want more you can gacha Nautilus, but good luck there. I've used hundreds of gachapon tickets in Nautilus, and I've never had a Concerto, but a couple D.Revolvers. Unless you're farming them for crafting fodder, I would look elsewhere for an end-game weapon. The Peacemaker perfected is only a few ATT less than a Concerto, & a ton easier to farm. Then again, you could get lucky. Just my 2 cents.
