New here not to MS. Haven't played v62 in a LONG.. time probably since it was retail version. played a few servers long ago but with the whole rebirth systems and all that. I am just super confused on everything. Where to train, how to make mesos ( outside of leeching ), basic traveling to certain areas, etc..

Is there any tips people can give? I've only been playing for a day got to level 30 but yea im just confused af. followed some guide on here it was alright but i tried some maps and it didn't feel worth my time due to how the layout was outside of that though seemed like an okay leveling guide just spent more time trying to figure out how to get to these maps and then getting there then leveling so it felt slower.

also a side question - Is there any sort of community here that doesn't HP wash? I was never a fan of the whole leeching and HP washing

Welcome to Royals! :) My number 1 tip would be to just enjoy the game and play it at your own pace. Don't let people tell you that you have to HP wash because you don't. My Shad is sitting at 20k HP and my BM is at 21k and I never washed either of them. I just kept doing the HP quests. You can HP wash to get HP faster but I'd only recommend that if you are funded and since you're a new player please don't stress out about not HP washing because it is completely optional here, contrary to popular belief.

You will not be punished in terms of HP washing because we have multiple ways to gain HP:
-Reuel HP Quest (unlimited until you reach 9.5k HP) then it switches over to daily, and it goes right up to 30k HP. You will on average gain about 1k HP per month if you keep up with your daily HP quest when it switches over to daily. ;) https://royals.ms/forum/threads/com...ir-of-life-reuel-hp-quest-guide-lv120.178648/
    -Ellinia HP Quest https://royals.ms/forum/threads/water-from-the-spring-of-youth.124038/
    -Adventurer Assignment Quest https://royals.ms/forum/threads/an-adventurers-assignment-questline.218626/

As well as a plethora of other avenues too, such as using Blackfist Cloak which gives 100-130 HP, equipping 3 pets and scrolling their equips with HP (can get roughly ~300hp on average or higher.) 30% HP scrolls give 50 HP, 7 slots per pet equip, so that's 350hp per pet if you're stupid lucky/dedicated to using 30%s (they have a chance to blow up your item, be warned)
Dojo belts give HP, Black Belt gives 300 HP
We have Medals that give a ton of HP. The Collector Medals give 150, 250, 500, and 1k HP as you scale up, Ergoth's Bane (kill GPQ boss 10 times) gives 500 HP, Quest Specialist gives 150, and Virtuoso gives I think 300.(?)

Making mesos will happen naturally, once you get to level 150+ you can farm solo bosses (Papulatus (Ludibrium) Chao and Ephenia (Ellin Forest) to gain a bunch of NX to either use at the gachapons, or buy APRs to sell those, and then at level 175+ you unlock a new area called Rose Garden. The boss in there drops Totems (used for LHC gachapon that is essentially a free2play gachapon machine that requires 25 Totems per pull) and 1k or 5k NX. Sometimes if you're lucky you'll get both. On top of that after you kill the Rose Garden boss there is a Garden you can enter to catch bees that NPC for 5m each and you can catch up to 20 bees daily. So that's 100m daily, and you can have more characters running that to gain even more if that's an avenue you wish to go down.

Mages are meso printing machines first and foremost, but the Rose Garden is really good for casual players who don't want to make a mage class.

Here is a leveling guide that I've used many times over: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/2023-leveling-guide.157840/ additionally you can complete every single quest in this game and you will get to level 90s or a bit higher up if you do it during EXP events!

Eventually leveling will get slow and sluggish, I find it usually happens around level 80-90+ and then again roughly around 180+. I really enjoyed leveling up by doing all of the quests (even if they are lower than you! all of the quest EXP is increased by the 3.2x multiplier) because I usually finish them right around level 90 or so so I'd recommend giving that a try if you find some of the maps are not optimal or good enough. A good rule of thumb is if you can gain about roughly 10-20% per 10 min it's generally a good spot to hunker down in and watch some shows/grind. :)

The higher level you are the lower that gap will be, for example I grinded my bishop in Skeles to 200, level 199 during EXP bonus events I was making roughly 5-6% per hour. If I did it without any bonus EXP I'd probably be around 2-3% an hour.

thanks yea im not super worried about HP washing just i know some servers kinda force that onto people when i really have no interest. I been trying to follow that guide too but idk the mobs i went to go kill yesterday for the lvl 15-30 stuff just seemed kinda meh idk if it's just me or what. ended up just waiting for KPQ to level eventually people showed up so i got that done. Guess i'll try stick to the game and learn as i level. hopefully i don't get too overwhelmed with stuff and quit XD
