I have a lv170 DK, and I sadly found out, every time when I reply to 'R>all' or 'R>atker', for most of the time there is no response. Yes, I got ignored, even without checking my range lmao, after I spent 10b on my gear. Yes, I know I could smega R> instead of J>. Yes, I know I could make more friends in the game. But those above 2 points are not within the scope of this thread. So my question is, what's the most wanted job? I guess it's BM? Is it worth making a BM? I have a BS to sell skele, so I'm not THAT worried about funding (ofc leeching is boring lol)
From my own experience in the game, as far as filling a hole in the party CR is always in demand to the point people are just blood washing alts to do it. But play what you find fun, don't just make a new character because you feel its in more of a demand unless you want to try the class.
I main a DK and never have had any problems joining or recruiting a run. I have never muled for a run. Never has anyone ever asked or cared about my range Allthough since level 180+ I have stopped hosting/joining runs with randoms and only run with Ally/Guild like most people do when getting to the higher levels. I have made a BM a while ago, mostly for being my 2nd daily boss char but I rarely play it. If I could do it again I'd probably make MM instead since more interactive game play and you can join runs as attacker with 250 base INT anyway, simply for SE. If you really want to bring something to the table I'd suggest making a CR Mule. You can bloodwash it if you want. tl;dr Play whatever the fuck you want. Youd friends will take your perma beginner over any 10b geared random any day.
to answer your question, I'd say the most wanted job is either paladin for crash, or archers for sharp eyes. even buccaneers for speed infusion. however, my answer for your concern would be to play whatever class you feel good with. the one you enjoy the most, the one you know how to control blindfolded regardless if people like it or not. PS: as an unwashed marksman, dark knights are my best friends. I'd take you literally everywhere with me because your hyper body comes in handy for certain bosses I can't do without it. besides, I think they are one of the coolest looking classes.
Probably NL as an attacker and archers for SE. Bucc is also wanted often, especially in stuff like LHC
Bucc and Paladin are high demand everywhere but CWK. SE is high demand everywhere but LHC, MM is fine in LHC but BM is unwanted. SE is extremely high demand in CWK. SE however cost a heap sum more to wash. Personally I’d main bucc over paladin if I had a choice.
Hi guys, ty all for the input! Yes, I fully agree that the animation of DK looks so cool. I just wanna experience more content, or a different taste of game playing. I guess making a SE is a good idea. Because I grinded the DK from lv1, so I don't really wanna make a CR or bucc. Somehow I always feel like they are all pretty much melee class. I still got a question tho. What's the difference between BM and MM? To my understanding, BM is more about solo, MM is more about mobbing?
Bowmaster: - bow, 1-handed stance - somehow higher DPS than MM - has fire-based skills in their toolkit + can burn mobs and do damage over time - ability to slow monsters - more 1v1 oriented due to their main skill hurricane - lackluster when it comes to AoE (can still dish out multiple mobs while hurricane-walking, just one by one) - does not benefit from speed infusion Marksman: - crossbow, 2-handed stance - somehow lower DPS than BM but great DPM. - has ice-based skills in their toolkit + can freeze mobs. - ability to blind monsters (roughly ~30% avoidability bonus for you and your party) - more AoE oriented due to their mobbing skill piercing arrow (they actually shine in horizontal areas like LHC) - good 1v1 too thanks to a buffed strafe damage, combined with snipe (200k damage) - benefits from speed infusion a bowmaster's gameplay feels more like a flurry of relentless arrows focused on single monsters or bosses. you can also burn your enemies with phoenix. — you'll be holding just 1 key most of the time (hurricane). a marksman's gameplay feels more like what a sniper means in other RPGs, a bit slower in attacking speed but heavy hitter (can do max damage with 1 single arrow every 4 seconds: snipe) (can break damage cap: piercing arrow when hitting 6 monsters). you can also keep your enemies frozen with frostprey. — you'll be using a combo consisted of (snipe x1, strafe x6) so it requires paying more attention. both are great, fun and self-sufficient classes. not to be considered S tier attackers, but more like support classes :~)
Phoenix doesn't have any burning effect, only Inferno does. Anyway if you want to make an archer there are some major weaknesses you should think about. - They have low hp and needs a lot of washing (harder to wash than nl also). - Their DPS isn't that good and people usually don't want to invite you to party if they already have 1 archer/have se mule. - They have mediocre avoid and no stance so you'd often fall/get knocked. - The multi target damage is also a lot worse than that of a drk
