Hello IGN: Gifflar (171 DrK) Problem: Can't receive the Silver Mane Quest Details: I have read around the forum that there are issues with people who received the hog + saddle years ago. A couple of years ago (don't know when) I got the Saddle and the Hog. Currently I have the Pheromone Perfume quest but can't get any further because Chief Tatamo in Leafre won't let me buy it as it is because I already have finished the quest earlier. I also don't have the perfume in my inventory, I've checked multiple times. I have collected every item needed and leveled up my Hog to level four. Still I'm not receiving the quest for the Silver Mane. Please help me out with this.
Yes, I have. Saw that in another Silver Mane Quest issues thread. This didnt work. Neither does Forfeiting the old Pheromone Perfume quest. It only gets me back to receiving the Pheromone perfume quest again.
And then redo the quest all together? Is this a guaranted way to make it work? Does this incliuding dropping the saddle as well?
You can refer to the mount guide, this was listed at the bottom NOTE: There is currently a bug where if you have a hog from the old source, the quest for Dragons perfume bottle/silver mane wont show up. You will have to drop your old source hog if that is the case.
Thank you Dave! Dropping the Hog and not the Saddle worked. I could then buy the perfume and complete the quest which helped me get to the Silver Mane. I have the Silver Mane now. This topic may now be locked. Cheers! Have a good day!
