Since 4/20 i had my new computer, i have been experiencing DC whenever i do APQ Especially when spamming some keys , like "NPC CHAT" or "TAB" (use it to switch channels when chatting) and even when i try to drop the ETC in stage 4. However i cant ss it cuz nothing shows up after i dc .. #i have tried running all boss parties and nothing wrong , just cant do apq, no apples for me .... pls help~~
Me and 2 other guys in the same 4 runs experienced a similar problem. Our screens went black and had to use task manager to end Mapleroyals, personally I even had to restart the pc cus i couldn't close it. Luckily I hate that stupid pq and don't usually do it
The error has been occurring since Apr 2022 without any changes? Did you notice any specific conditions that might trigger the disconnections? Such as using a skill? For the mentioned new computer, is it a Windows 10 or 11?
Hello Dave, the issue has never changed after using this new computer since April 20th 2022 I dont need to cast a skill to dc myself, all i need is to spam TAB and click Enter ( as i use it to chat with diff channels ) or the action when i attempt to drop anything there Also nothing appeared after im disconnected Btw its Win10. P.S. only happens AFTER i enter the map "Entrance of Amorian Challenge: Hidden street"
What other steps have you tried in an attempt to debug this issue? Such as playing in windowed mode, full screen Or playing in Windows 7 compatibility mode
these are the issues after i enter the map: also i have tried with different kinds of screen modes , either in Window / Full screen or change the resolution between true / false. ** i recall i've tried in the different compatible mode but didnt work as well.
As the disconnect scenario are very odd and specific (tabbing and dropping item), will be checking with other Staff about this issue I don't think anyone else facing this issue, but will do a confirmation
Which client are you on? Someone suggested for newer computers the WZ client actually is more stable. Did you try both?
Im using IMG currently, but have also already tried out WZ client after i got the issue, still not helping, probably changing a new pc is the only solution seems like
Have you tried it on any other PCs too? Like a family member or friend's PC? Unable to find any similar cases for this very specific scenario - disconnecting in APQ after tabbing or dropping item
oops.. sor for late reply i hav'nt tried on other PCs, i only play on 1 PC also, ive tried some more ways: 1. updated my GPU driver 2. downloaded C++ distributable not helping aswell. btw, i dc only happens when there is the pop up (prompt) , and no matter i click with mouse or "ENTER" would both end up with dc
