Notice 2x EXP Compensation

Holy balls I am bad at this, if anyone knows EST off the top of their heads, please post it haha.

Im not one to complain but I was heavily affected by the rollback and I have no idea what our player base's main nationalities are but speaking from est US terms, more than half the time of the duration of 2x exp will be when I am asleep. Im not saying to change the time to benefit me but if a lot of players are experiencing the same dilemma as me then there should some change. Thank you.

 

The time for the 2x exp event has been selected as such because it is the same time period lost because of the rollback. If you were heavily affected by the rollback, it means you were playing while you normally would have been sleeping. We have no control over your sleeping patterns. I'm also from the US and probably won't get a lot of benefit from the 2x exp event, either...but that being said I didn't lose a whole lot because I was asleep for the majority of the time that was lost due to the rollback.

 

This is how I expect it to go down in some homes...

EDIT: Got it. It will start on Saturday for EST at 8 PM and will go into Sunday till 1 PM. Great.

Sorry to be annoying but just want to make sure. For EST, is the 2x in 46 minutes or are we talking 8:00 pm tomorrow night which is the night before school/work day?

 

It's 35 minutes from now.

 

Why is there no 2x?

 

Fixed. It'll be extended to 20:15 BST to make up for the loss.

 

But the hacker came on at 9am, so isn't that 9 hours of lost time?

 

Let me clarify this.

The hacker came online at 9am BST and bought out all the stores.
At this point everyone was thinking there would be a potential rollback and had no motivation to grind and logged out with 9 hours to go.

All GMs were sleeping at this point so the server ran for 4 hours with no one doing anything before it crashed for 2:45 hours, then it came up with 2:45 hours 2x exp.

But we lost in all seriousness 9 hours of the event not just 2:45 hours because of the crash.

So i'm asking if we could have a little addition :c
(when you sort out all the merchants and stuff)
