Solved [Solution Given] Hello, my mapleroyals won't launch

    i tried to uninstall, change from windows 7/8 to windows 95. started it up as administator. but still the game won't launch can someone help pls. i also set my windows defender off when i installed the game, and excluded the map from being detected by windows defender after i downloaded it. and have it off right now.

    I had a supsription to norton in 2017 that expired in 2020. apprently i removed the application not in a good way to i had some part of the application still on my laptop, so i went to norton removal website and downloaded the removal file after unsing that it mapleroyals worked again!

    Interesting to know, guess Norton is more persistent than expected
    Anti virus not supposed to be active after expired

    yea it was very strange because the removal of norton make it start again

    As far as I know, another anti-virus (WebRoot) behaves in a similar manner - will block Royals even if it's off

    Although they may mean well-intentions, still find it kinda sus that the anti-virus can still run in the background even after disabled
